    CA auto express delivered my car with a completely flat tire. Turns out they got a nail in it while their were transporting it from one location to another.I had to pay *** to come out and I also invited expenses of fixing the tire.The driver took my money which was $150 more than it shouldve been. And drove off without even allowing me to inspect the car. Im requesting $185 back. $150 for the overages and $35 for the tire

    I had my car shipped from ************** to ********** by CA Auto Express, owner ***************. The day my car was scheduled for pick up, I washed my car from top to bottom making sure I knew every detail of any discrepancies on my vehicle prior to it being shipped. Upon pick up in SC, the carrier driver verbalized and signed for there being no damages with my vehicle whatsoever besides a small crack in the windshield, which I pointed out to him. Other than that, Nothing. (Picture of non scratched bumper included) Upon receiving my car in *******, **********, there was approximately a 12 inch scratch across the front bumper. I had notified *************** and CA auto express that I wish for a claim to be filed by the carriers insurance (evidence of scratched bumper included). He had denied my request for a claim because he believed:1. The evidence was insufficient to support that the damage took place DURING transport. Then, *************** went on to say 2. that the driver could have missed it during pick up as they had noted that it was raining that day. The rain could have caused the driver to miss pre existing damages. Because of this, CA Auto Express is not liable (BOL picture included with no damages notated except chip in windshield).Additionally, *************** said 3. CA Auto Express cannot be held liable for minor damages that occur during transport from debris. (This is not a minor scratch from debris in my opinion). I believe the evidence I have is conclusive to show that the damage was due to negligence during transport or upon arrival to the ******* pick up location. *************** denies that he will file a claim and denies responsibility for the damages on my vehicle. I am respectfully requesting for something to be done.

    In any event, attached please find the documents I think you were looking for, specifically 1) the agreement I had with Elite Auto Shipping - a truck broker - securing transport of my car; 2) the Uniform Straight Bill of Lading I received from CA Auto Express, Inc. when they picked up my car for transport; and 3) a copy of the certified check for $1,500 that I gave to CA Auto Express, Inc. on my car’s delivery.

    never noted in the Bill of Lading and question if the mirror was loose and they knew it why didn't they secure it? In any event I replaced the mirror at my local VW dealer and was looking for CA Auto Express, Inc. to reimburse me for replacing the passenger side mirror and they denied my request for reimbursement. Although I can not locate the VW invoice at the time of this writing the approximate cost to replace the side passenger mirror was about $170. I can upload the invoice in the near future along with any other documentation BBB may require.
