      This a complaint about (BURRTEC ) Adress -********************************************** -I am writing to express my outrage regarding the abysmal service I have experienced with your trash collection. This morning, the collection truck arrived far too early, giving residents, including myself, insufficient time to put our trash out. As a result, my cans were completely skipped, along with those of several neighbors. This is not only frustrating but also entirely *************** make matters worse, when I called your company to address this issue, the representative I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. This lack of professionalism is shocking and adds insult to injury. It is disgraceful that a company entrusted with maintaining our communitys cleanliness would show such a lack of consideration for its customers.Many residents in our elderly neighborhood depend on reliable waste collection, and your failure to provide this service has created an unsanitary environment. This is a serious issue that requires immediate attention.I expect you to return today for a pickup for everyone who missed the trash collection, including my cans. Furthermore, I will be contacting local news and media outlets, to report this ongoing neglect of your responsibilities. I demand an explanation for why my trash was overlooked and what steps you will take to ensure this does not happen again.I expect a prompt response addressing my concerns and a clear plan for rectifying this situation.*******

      Overpriced and unrealistic charges . Extra $600 a year for a 2nd green can if used or not, and thats on top of bill

      Dear BBB . I am writing to express my concern regarding an interaction I had with Burtec customer service team on August 20, 2024, at approximately 10:12 AM. I called your customer service number to make a payment and was connected with a representative named *******.I requested that ******* pull up my account and provide me with the due balance, which she did. I then shared that I am currently going through a difficult time, as I am not working full-time, and I asked if the late fee could be waived. ******* informed me that she was unable to accommodate my request. I understand that policies may restrict certain actions, but I felt there was a lack of empathy in her response.When I asked to speak with a supervisor, ******* told me that you were not available and that she would request a callback. However, instead of receiving a callback, I was transferred to a lead representative. Unfortunately, the leads attitude was dismissive and rude. When I asked if she was the supervisor or manager, she confirmed with an attitude that she was. I then inquired about speaking with the supervisor directly, explaining that her tone was making me uncomfortable, but she responded defensively, claiming that the entire office could hear our conversation and that she wasnt being rude.. My intention was simply to pay my bill, catch up on payments, and request a bit of assistance during a challenging time. However, this was not accomplished due to how I was treated by your representatives.I hope that this feedback is taken into consideration to improve future customer interactions.Sincerely,

      Burrtec trash technicians have on several occasions practiced selected discrimination they only pick up certain chosen houses trash receptacles! I've had my cans lined up outside in the proper area every week foe over 12 years; we follow the proper placement / of trash in each can, however, they still pass my trash receptacles by and I have to call the office to have them return to do the job. I explain each time that my Burrtec account is Paid in ful! and has Never been delinquent even when Burrtec use to bill directly, and now since they add the fee to my property taxes Burrtec receives their payment directly IN FULL! However, I am NOT receiving service! On several occasions I am passed by and my neighbors are serviced even around the corner, "I check!" I keep reminding them how unfair this is since I am a disabled senior, and have difficulty dragging those cans back &forth, but they still refuse to service my home, I've watched them get out of the truck and haul extra trash into the truck for the couple on the corner. But, they won't stop and let the truck mechanical arm pick up my trash receptacles! I got home late after a doctors appointment 5/24/24 and again my cans were NOT serviced! And of course Burrtec is CLOSED! Therefore, I have no trash can for several days, something has to be done! I've paid for service! So Service my home!!

      **************** is very RUDE. Very insincere and not helpful. Too bad I do not have a choice but to use their services. If I had a choice...I would NOT USE THEM EVER!!!

      Our waste pickup is charged to us on our tax bill. We have been charged for three greens containers; we only have two. This has been brought to their attention in April 2022. We are still waiting for the refund. I have many emails and have made many phone calls. Customer service is always very polite and apologetic but no action happens.

      Burrtec Waste, in the past, setup a system whereby customers could arrange for autopay in order to have payments taken out of their checking accounts, etc. For whatever reason, sometime after May, 2022, the Burrtec computer system crashed. Therefore, Burrtec had to install a new computer system. Some of the customers who were using the auto-pay system, therefore, would have to setup another auto-pay. Unfortunately, for many of **, were not made aware of the issue and became aware of the problem in late August or early September. For many of **, we each received letters/notifications that "Burrtec Waste is initiating actions to place delinquent charges on the annual general County tax bills.". These are very strong threatening words.. I am a member of a community connected group "Nextdoor". There are over 100 customers with the same complaint. I feel Burrtec Waste should be sending out apology letters or making a public apology.
