      On January 20,2023, I received an email from Lending Point LLC, stating QuinStreet sent a referral for a loan application I never applied for. I have tried to contact QuinStreet on several occasions to reach their **************** as this is fraud. I never applied for a loan & have no interest in applying for any loans. I have contacted all three credit bureaus in reference to this matter as well as filed a complaint with FTC, IC3, & a police report with my local authorities. *********** Police report number GP230005009, FTC *********. I am requesting the business to please remove all applications from your system for loans that contact my information. Please contact any third party's you've sent my information to & report as Fraud. Please contact all credit bureaus from who you've pulled my credit & report as fraud.

      We have researched this issue and can find no record of a loan inquiry with our company based on the information provided in this complaint. Our subsidiary, AmONE has no loan request applications on file for this consumer and we are unable to identify instances where we have have attempted to match this individual with a lender.       There is a soft pull on my credit report on 07/02/22, however I did NOT inquire about this. I want it removed please.

      Quinstreet has conducted a review of this complaint and we can confirm that Quinstreet received a lead on 7/2/2022 for a Personal Loan, and so the soft credit pull was conducted.  The information on the lead matches the consumers personal information.

      I clicked on insurance.com not realizing it wasnt ************** looking for a quote for insurance and put my information in thinking this is legitimate. Lo and behold, not even 10 minutes after doing so my phone blows up with call after call after call and emails one after the other. They dont even TRY to let you know that your data is being sold off to anyone nor do they say who it was sold to. I want them to get rid of my data and to tell their buyers to stop contacting me. Many of the ones that have called and emailed me are CLEARLY malicious but theyre buying from this accredited business. They should know better than to sell info to scammers and need to do better. I would like monetary compensation for them selling my data without any sort of warning whatsoever.

      Quinstreet has conducted a review of this complaint and we can confirm that Quinstreet received a lead on 9/8/2022 that matches this consumers information.  Accordingly, in response to the lead we received,in which the consumer consented to be contacted, we reached out to the phone number **************.  We have added the consumers phone number to our internal DNC list and so he should no longer receive calls from QuinStreet.
