    So I actually love crunch but never thought I'd get caught up in membership where they act shady and try taking your money! They are making me pay $299 to cancel my membership.So back in March my wallet gets stolen and I have to get new cards for everything, one of the cards was linked to Crunch which I didn't notice. I also moved in April to a different city. I get my first notice of a late fee in April (since I didn't update my new card), but by that time I was in a different city. I call to try to cancel over the phone and they say I have to pay for the month which is fine ($29.99) I thought that was settled and I kept getting emails up until May- I assumed it hadn't processed by then.I find a crunch near my new city and log into my account and see that they are billing me $299! I didn't even know my account was active. I wasn't even offered to freeze my account based on my situation and when I called they told me paying that amount was my only option. They offered to cancel my account for $200 but that was still way too much for something I barely used. Before this I was the gym often and loved it! This situation is really unfair and I beleive their tactics are predatory to meet quotas. Note: This is the second crunch gym I've used. I use to live in the East coast and all I had to do to cancel was text the manager and he offered to freeze it during my move (back in 2020). Totally unfair. Considering Small claims court if unresolved.
