Unauthorized deceptive invoice stating we had ordered an online membership with their company. We did not agree to do any business with this company. This company sends out fake invoices to hotels to try to get payment. We have never used this company, the picture they have of our hotel is lifted from our website (not well by the way), and they simply provide our contact info. No hotel or motel would seek to use a website like this when the info they provide can be found on ****** much easier and more accurately. The description is also very generic and does not match any description we have anywhere else.

This company has sent us invoices multiple times, this time for $398.50 for an "Annual listing in national hotel motel directory renewal" stating "Thank you for the opportunity to continue to service your account". We have never used their services or requested to do so. It seems they are sending out invoices hoping random hotels will just pay thinking they had already been using the service. Very ******. They are also using their BBB Accreditation to do so. This company should not be BBB accredited unless they stop using wording to sound like companies have already agreed to these services.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: It was the only option to not close the case and it has not been resolved yet.

The current invoice number is *****. We also received an invoice back in 2021 for the same thing #****** and it was reported in the scam tracker for BBB at that time under **** ******.

There are other complaints under the scam tracker from other companies. ****** is another example.

      Sincerely,

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

Thank you for removing us from your list however, I still do not understand why you would be sending these invoices in the first place.

Can you explain why you would have started invoicing us in the first place when we did not initiate or agree to do any business with you?

Why do you use the wording "Thank you for the opportunity to continue to service your account" when we have never been an account you are servicing?

I believe BBB should review the accreditation they have given this business, as it seems you are sending invoices out with false wording, in hopes businesses will just pay thinking they are simply renewing an already agreed to service.

      Sincerely,

      *************************
