I attended Alert Medical Training in late 2022 and had my course completion in December 2022. The staff here was very kind and really helpful. The price was amazing. Classes were small which is great because you get more of a one on one with the instructor. I had questions and they my teacher was always so helpful. I honestly felt they want you to succeed and made accommodations to help you in all ways possible. This place has helped me learn leadership skills and ways to be part of a group. I still communicate with my group and help each other out. Something we learned in class. I highly recommend this place to teach you EMT and BLS. Great place.

I am very pleased that I enrolled at Alert Medical Training for my EMT education. The entire staff is professional and courteous. The educators give you direction of what habits you need to form in order to do well in the class as well as challenge you. I was very prepared for the NREMT exam due to my education at Alert Medical Training.

If you are looking for a place to take your money then look no further.
This company will provide you with nothing that it promises but leaves you in a position where your money is as good as gone.
Imagine paying 1700 dollars on an EMT class only to be treated as a child. Pull your phone out in class and you should get ready to be kicked out. Which would be fine… if the instructor didn’t do the same thing. He boasts of a distraction free environment but plays with his dog during final exams, blaming our low scores on not studying enough. He sits in his office most of the time grading papers and not teaching the class. What makes it worse is he hasn’t given 100% in 7 years. Seems as though if is impossible to get a good grade.
Please do not let the numbers fool you on his site. 93% NERMT pass rate? Not bad. But he will only pass half the class.
So if you are feeling lucky flip a coin. It will determine if your 1500 dollars are going to go to waste or not.

We are honest and direct with our prospective students, active students, and alumni. Focused on our core values of education, community, and commitment, we give our best effort to provide an environment that has proven to lead to success. Every prospective student is required to attend a program information meeting prior to enrollment. At this meeting we let them know how our program works and that our strict policies for engagement, participation, and commitment to ethical behavior may not be for everyone. We encourage them to read the enrollment agreement closely and ask any questions prior to completing the packet. We do not accept payment from anyone until they have completed this process.
While signing the enrollment agreement, students agree to complete all coursework on time, limit absences to 8 hours through out the program, participate in classroom activities, along with other applicable policies. In regards, to classroom participation the following is included “All students must participate in classroom discussions and activities. Failure to participate will result in potential disciplinary action. To enforce participation, all students must be in class wearing appropriate uniform and prepared to learn and the beginning of class. Cellular devices and social media use during class hours are considered a distraction to the learning environment.”
Our summer academy has dual primary instructors to ensure that students always have an instructor available while also providing timely feedback. Yes, the program director does step out of the classroom and into his office, while the other primary instructor is facilitating class. This time is spent grading homework, arranging clinical hours, and responding to student requests. Our program director makes himself available to our active students and graduates before, during, and after office hours. They are welcome to text him direct when they have concerns or issues with class assignments and homework. Yes, our Program Director has his cell phone on when in the classroom at times. It is essential at times for the success of our program and the students attending that he respond to those requests timely. We are unaware of any time it has been a detriment to a classroom experience.
We are not certain where the reviewer would have gotten information that only half of the class is allowed to pass. Students that do the work, put in the time, and commit to their education are at the finish line with the class completing their skills and cognitive finals. The Program Director doesn’t control who earns their way to the finals, the students actions dictate their results. We are proud of the work that we have done to stay above the national average with the NREMT. 93% of our 2022 graduates and 100% of those so far in 2023 have passed the NREMT on the first attempt.
We hope the reviewer will come forward to discuss their concerns with the EMT Program Director or Business Manager, so that we can address them direct.
