    I ordered a steel building from Central Valley steel worked with a guy named **** he help design the barn I wanted to install after design was complete he asked for a deposit which **** had me pay 367 from my debit then requested the rat be zelled which was $2000 I paid then was told by **** to have the cement pad put in and then contact him for building once cement was placed I had cement placed 5 -6 days after called **** sent him a picture of cement slab and he said he would get back to me he was going to schedule a crew to come place barn up two weeks went by I heard nothing from **** the 3 rd week I called and spoke to **** getting the run around I called back two days later still getting the run around I asked **** to speak with his manager and he refused stating his managers are too busy to call customers back.. waited two days called back demanding to speak with a manager and was refused when I asked who was ****** that was the name on the Zelle payment and refused to give me any info.. I was seeing that this was clearly a scam I told **** I was coming down there to get the managers info which he replied he would have me trespassed I said I need a refund or my building built and he refused to give me any info and refused a refund.. I have tried going thru the bank to get a refund but they are not able to get a refund through ***** and this is why he had me Zelle the money I was robbed $2,367 from this company nd they have been nothing but rude and have threatened me and refused any assistance to resolve the issue! I would like a refund at this point it obvious this is a scam and they were never going to build a steel metal barn I have sent a photo of the cement slab that was built for the steel barn I never received I had a tarp cover installed by another company to cover cement but Central Valley steel never did any work or brought the barn

    Had storm blew up roof. Causing hole in the steel structure. Called them and said my warranty was up. My husband went up to repair and saw they never put screws down to hold the roof in place per project requirements. Pics provided of s**** not on the north sides of the roof. Contacted them again with the pics and they will not call me back. We had a storm. And flooded my garage and ruined heavy equipment. I would like a replacement roof panel where there is a hole and equipment reimbursement. Asked to speak to owner and said he only speaks Spanish then never responded to anything after that. Have proof of everything. Pics sent to them

    Central Valley Steel Structures LLC received *************************************** order via email from one of the company brokers Carport Central in March of 2019 (Attached is a copy of the order with Terms and Conditions as well as the email of when the order was sent into our office).
    ********************* purchased Structural Engineered Drawings with her building. We completed the installation of her building ****** 29th, 2019. ********************* called our office July 15th, 2024, where she explained her situation to ***** who then explained to ********************* that her Warranty had expired ****** 29th, of this year 2024 per the Terms and Conditions she signed when she submitted her order. Lead time for the Warranty start when the building is complete. ********************* demanded to speak to me, and I was unavailable to take her call at the time and ***** explained he would have me call her when I was able to. He also provided her my email address to which she did send me an email. I was able to get in contact with ********************* at one point later that morning and allowed her to express herself. After she was done, I let her know that her installation was completed in April of 2019 and that her Warranty had expired April 29th, of this year, 2024. She was unsatisfied with my response, and she demanded to speak to the owner; the owner does not speak English, and that was explained to ********************* by me, personally. I also explained that I was the one in charge of these situations and that I am the voice of the company and that unfortunately she would be unable to speak to the owner. She said that I am a nobody and that if I wasn't going to help her, she didn't want to deal with me. She demanded the owner send her an email where again I tried explaining that he does not speak English, but that I could send her an email explaining exactly what I had just told her, and she refused. She said she didn't want it if it did not come from the owner. I told her that was impossible, and she began to raise her voice and I told her that I will have to let her go and I would send her an email and she still said no, that we weren't honoring our end of the Warranty, when in fact we did per the Terms and Conditions she signed. The Warranty starts the day the installation is complete. Which was ****** 29th of 2019.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    As stated in the complaint which they did not address: upon going on the roof (after talking with the manager )  there was never secured screws put down on both north sides of the roof (pics taken) per the specs requirement (pics taken)  which is why the roof came up in the first place.  I sent these pics before contacting BBB to the number they asked me to text the pics to. And they never responded.  The initial install was not done to specs which is why the roof came up and made a hole in the roof damaging heavy equipment.

    The building was installed over 5 years ago. There were never any issues until after the five-year mark. 

    Our contract is clear, and it was an agreement both parties agreed to, and the installation was completed per contract. 

    We offered the customer to send someone out to do an inspection for free.

    Our fee for sending someone out to do inspections to provide quotes is $4 a mile. The offer still stands, we are able to send someone out to do an inspection and we can provide a quote at no charge to the customer.

     I am rejecting this response because:

    As stated per specs and pics provided there was NEVER any screws put in the north side of the roof at install.   We never saw it cuz we never had a reason to go up there until we tried to fix the roof and saw there were zero holes where there should have been screws in which now caused a hole in the roof.  And then damaged my equipment from rain water coming in.    

    Furthermore the male I talked to said if you came out you would charge me 8 dollars a mile driven to my house.   Which is an 8 hour drive so I said no thank you.   I want the hole fixed and equipment replaced which I have requested now 3 times !
