We are having a problem with KRC management me and my wife use to rent the apartment we’re staying at with her step dad but he moved out and we were in the process of transferring our names over we went through the whole process got approved and the put his name back on the lease without his consent after submitting his 30 day so now we’re are being charged with his debt that he owes which we were told that we wouldn’t be responsible for his debt since the apartment was gonna be in our name so now they are kicking us out Monday because they don’t want to make a payment arrangement with him but yet we been on time with our payments we’ve been living here for almost 2 years and gave them no issue always had our rent paid on time but still refuse to work out anything with us and we need to pay 2500 by Monday or we are evicted and that’s gonna be on our record when we didn’t do anything at allBusiness Response

I moved out a property managed by this company in October. I never received an itemized security deposit disposition or my refund. Beginning in December I had my daughter assist me in contacting the company to find out what I would be receiving back and when. My daughter, Summer, holds my power of attorney as I have been diagnosed with cancer and require assistance. She has called over 10 times, spoken with a number of people at the site we were told to contact, Sycamore Heights and their corporate office. Every time she called, she was told that someone would call her back and they never did. Each contact she was told that the disposition was sent although it is clear that it was not. I have had no issue receiving any mail at my new address, whatsoever. After about the 5th call, she was given the number for the supervisor Yuliana. Yuliana also did not return any of the calls. We have been very patient and it has not been taken seriously. She was told that the amount I would receive is $1360 (cleaning and trach deducted). We accepted this even though the company by law would be required to return the full deposit due to the fact that it was not returned within the 21 day time frame as required by law. Finally, this week Yuliana informed her that the check could be picked up today, her payroll checks were to come with mine as well. Today my daughter, Summer, called and was told she would receive the pick up address via text and could pick up this evening. Yuliana did not send this information and did not respond to any text or calls. At this point the company should refund full deposit, however we will accept the agreed amount so that this can be resolved. We have never experienced this level of unprofessionalism. We have been lied to and ignored for far too long. More details can be provided if necessary. I still need assistance from my daughter, Summer, with this matter. I have many doctor's appointments and am often incapacitated.Initial Complaint

I am writing regarding some concerns that have not been taken care of at Pioneer Village.
1 - Mailboxes: It has been many months since we have had our mailboxes. It is NOT the manager to be our mail carrier. She has enough to do and when she is out of the office tending to her job, we miss her and are unable to get our mail. For those of us that get out after she is gone, when are we supposed to get our mail? She's not there on Saturday, so When?
2 - Dishwasher; It's been about 3 months since i told the maintenance man that my dishwasher burnt. About 2 months later I let the manager know as well. I'm still without a dishwasher.
3 - Roaches: What ever exterminator you are using, it's not working. I have to use my own methods trying to get rid of them.
4 - Tree Trimming: The trees in throughout the complex were done, yet the tree branches over my apartment did not get done.
5 - Updates: When I moved in my apartment, I was told that I was next on the list for my apartment to be renovated, yet, I'm still waiting.
6 - When the windows were replaced, there was supposed to be caulking inside the apartment window; Never done.
7 - There's a plug in the living room that will not work unless the kitchen light is on...REALLY?! I've brought this up for the past 4 years. NOTHING.
8 - You have raised my rent 3 times. Last time was a BIG hike. As an owner, you expect to be paid on time, EVERY month; We should be able to count on you to hold up to your side for our payment. I wrote a letter last month and received no response. I went public by this letter for all to read. Please respond to my grievances as soon as possible. It would be most appreciated. I am not one to complain, yet, when someone gets ignored as you have been to me, I need to speak up.Initial Complaint

I am reaching out through the Better Business Bureau due to the fact that the property is intentionally avoiding communication with me.
My name is ******** *******, a former tenant of unit B at Barton Palace. I was contacted last week by ***** *****, saying that the unit is $7,100 in debt due to non-payment of rent and KRC is moving to evict *****. I do not live there anymore but was informed at that time that I am somehow still on the lease. I then called the KRC office and spoke with ****** who said that she has an email from December 17th 2020 that I had sent removing myself from the lease. I spoke with ***** again and he told me that he has spoken with you since my conversation with Karina, and you informed him that I am still on the lease. I just have a few questions. 1) How am I still on the lease if I never signed to renew it? 2) If you do have this documentation I am demanding a copy of it immediately due to possible forgery on the Property Managements part. 3) I would like my name taken off of that lease! I do not live there and have not lived there for years, and have proof that I have been on a lease with another property since I communicated with you to remove me from your lease. Again I would like to question how I'm on the lease if I never signed to renew it?? If I am on the lease why have I not been contacted about the balance on the apartment? Why am I finding out about all of this second hand through *****? Why have you made zero attempts to contact me? I would like answers to these questions.
I would like my name removed from the current lawsuit if you move forward with it. Failure to due so will lead to me pursuing legal action against KRC Properties.
I am simply asking for communication from the "Regional Manager *******" who is currently completely avoiding all forms of communication with me, yet still threatening to unlawfully put an eviction on my record.Initial Complaint

krc management started managing my apartments about 6 months now and they told all the tenants that we all were going to have to move out and they are give us moving expenses which equaled out to one months rent, and also we didn't have to pay rent for the month of July and August because that was around the time they wanted us all out! I barely received my deposit back and it was short and they failed to give me moving expenses and me and my 3 year old and 12 year old have been homeless ever since...Initial Complaint

I reside at La Casa Manor Apartments the housing choice voucher program assisted me in getting this unit to help get me and my children off being homeless this help was provided to help me gain some stability for my family I have lived here for 1year ive had to make complaints to code inforcement as they where not answering me on any of the work orders I had requested for the first 9 months Ive had to use a small refrigerator i had to purchase due to the one they provided spoiling my grocery 3x's that I had bought over $500 in food it spoiled and I had to toss it out me and my children have been sick time and time again due to the mold growth prior to move in my case worker was told the apartment was just remodeled and everything was new that was a lie the prior tenant just moved out 3 days before i moved in they quick fixed everything i have problems with roaches rodents not mice rodents rats leaks in the wall you can hear sink in kitchen i had leak and i had to replace myself door came off hinges and also i repaired myself they posted a tow notice on my vehicle in my stall in July didn't have it towed till march the day after code enforcement came out they posted notice on my door 90 vacate so they could remodel I've been trying to see whom the actual owners of the property is and yet to get that info covid 19 rent relief assistance was applied for and yet to know the outcome of that they send you back and forth from person to person to obtain any info you request there VERY RUDE AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL. we recently had court and I missed my court date due to being ill from fever and ear judge made decision to give up possession of unit I received the minute order in mail and there no county stamping no judge signature also my pge accumulated to 5000 within the time being here mail never get any ive been victim of identity theft since moving here i got so much debt under my name need fix never do they return call messages no help for there tenants at all no good
