    Scammers and thieves! They claim to be working directly for **** support and steal your money claiming to be renewing your subscription. Called me 3 years later trying to scam me again. Reported to **** and the BBB again.

    I also had the same experience with “A***” but did not discover that it was a scam until Arlo company came out with their policy of the end of life for some of their cameras this past March. I contacted the company through the support site on the app stating that I wanted a refund for the 249.99 I paid for life time service. The two representatives I spoke with via the internet said they had no info on my call and that the copy of the credit card statement showed it was for Micro Software Squad. The two companies have to be affiliated because I called Arlo as my cameras were off and I could not reset them. However the better business bureau couldn’t help me. Or could the credit card company. I have now contact the North Carolina Attorney General and will also contact The SEC. I would also think with as many complaints listed on this site that Arlo is aware of Micro Software Squad action and chooses not to do anything about it. Audrey

    I HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE IS NOW TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK THEY ARE SCAMMERS ARLO NEEDS TO HAVE THEIR OWN PEOPLE INSTEAD OF OUTSOURCING TO THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE RUDE AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THEIR CUSOMERS. LIKE THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS I WOULD LIKE TO LEAVE THEM A O BUT MY ONLY CHOICE IS 1 STAR

    I'd really like to rate them "0" stars. I simply contacted Arlo for service, and when I asked to talk to a real person, this is who I got. "Alex", at this point I Don't consider a real person. He's a crook. I agree with the other review that he wanted $149, but not for a subscription, but to update my Firmware. He could not help me with repairs until firmware was updated. When I asked further about this he gave me 3 prices $ 99./1 yr, $149/3 yrs and $249 for 5 yrs. If its for Seniors the 5 yr deal was a 1 time payment to cover for life. Well, we are seniors, and since it was 1 time only, not every 5 yrs, my husband said do it. I did not right dealing with "Alex", whom I could barely understand, but H said just do it. and handed me his card, I gave number to Alex, and he said that my H would receive confirmation on his phone that he was the one making the purchase. I asked him how he knew, and he said it happens with all charges from his company, I walked outside to see if H had received a confirmation, and he had not. But I was feeling worse about this. I got back to phone, and since I was gone so long, he had hung up. He did call me back and I told him forget it. I found a service plan with Geek Squad for 5 yrs, and I'll just go to them. He claims they can't update my firmware, and I just kept telling him to cancel charge, and loose our names and numbers, phone and credit. The following day he called me 7 times, and I never answers, I did go to Geek Squad, who exchanged product for me. This company scared the 'He..' out of me. The first time his call came thru is said Span Risk. I should have just not answered because of the warning. Message to anyone liking for service for ARLO, go back to where you bought it. Don't trust service.
