Took my truck with a fuel pump failure. A 10k job, they said they cleaned tanks steamed and filtered my old fuel. 719 miles later, my fuel system got clogged up. Took to a frieghtliner and was told tanks were dirty with metal and canterminated fuel. Now needs a flush and a clean again. A 5k job. They refuse to take responsibility. They're telling me things they did that it's not in invoice. Warning: Make sure you verify everything is clean with fuel tanks if you have the service done.It's very expensive. Will take them to court, and I have reported with California ****** of ********** Repair

Covenant/Raymar truck vin# ll7431 mileage ****** arrived at Fresno Truck Center on 7/1/2023 with a complaint stating crackling / popping noise from behind fuel filter area trouble shooting was completed on 7/3/2023 customer was provided estimate for repairs at that time in the sum of $9414.19 for repair the fuel pump had failed contaminating entire fuel system with metal customer did not approve repairs until 8/22/2023 so at that time we ordered parts to complete repairs. Repairs were completed on 9/5/2023 and customer was called at that time we continued calling customer every couple days and he finally picked truck up on 10/19/2023 ****** the called us on 11/10/2023 and said he is having issues with truck losing prime and not starting I instructed him to take truck to the nearest freightliner dealer to diagnose the issue explaining if it was a failed part that we had installed it would have warranty , if it was a workmanship issue on us we would stand behind it and if it was an unrelated failure he would be responsible I was then contacted on 12/6/2023 by freightliner of ****** stating the fuel system was contaminated and the entire system needed to be flushed so I called and asked what it was contaminated with spoke with ******** and was told it was full of metal so I asked for pictures once receiving the pictures I could see it was not metal contamination looked like possible biofuel had separated as you can see in attached picture so I called and emailed ******** back explaining all I could see wat what appeared to be separated biofuel at that time she said she had made an assumption when she said it was metal at that time I told her we would not be participating in the repair I then called ****** and explained I would not participate and explained why he said he not gotten since picking truck up and I told him it is possible truck had the biofuel when truck was here because we just filter fuel and put back in truck removing metal contamination so it just had not yet separated it tends to do that in cooler temps truck was still running would just lose prime so I suggested he just replace the fuel filters top off with fresh fuel and if he still had the issue bring truck to us and I would work with him but I would not pay for the flushing of the entire fuel system.
Look at the attached picture provided by the other repair facility. It shows no metal. What it does show is gelling from biofuel.
