I have a workers comp claim with intercare holdings and I have not been able to discuss my claim or my settlement because my claims adjuster as well as his supervisor will not call me back or respond to any of my emails. Its been well over 3 months since Ive heard anything from either one of them. At this point I dont have a clue to what is going on with my claim.

Recently retired from 32 years in law enforcement. During my career, I suffered many injuries which required surgery. My claims through Tri-Star were always handled quickly and professionally. My injuries all are supposed to be covered for future medical treatments during retirement. Unfortunately the City of Los Angeles has chosen to switch to Intercare from Tri-Star to handle their workers comp claims. For the past 4 years I have been receiving PRP shors to my left knee. The shots had always been approved by Tri-Star. Two months ago I contacted Intercare to get approved for a PRP injection. I was told to find an Orthopedic location in the state that I now reside and give that info to my adjuster. After doing so, I was told that my adjuster would contact me. After a week of not hearing from my adjuster, I called Intercare and was told I had a new adjuster who will be referred as F.S., her initials. I spoke with F.S., who from the onset, appeared to be half asleep and unprofessional. She sounded completely incompetent. I was told the facility I located would receive the letter of authorization from her for my treatment. I was to contact the facility in three days and make an appointment. After three days I contacted the facility and was told they were never contacted by my adjuster and had not received a letter., Over the next 3 weeks and 6 phone calls, without a return call, it was apparent I had been lied to and completely ignored. On my next call, after mentioning legal action, I received a call from a new adjuster, initials L.N., who stated she was my new adjuster. She made similar promises for my treatment that have also turned out to be lies. I have made 5 calls to L.N. in the past 3 weeks and haven't received a call back. I have never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. Intercare seems to be a terrible company filled with terrible employees. This company needs to be investigated for fraud. I also sent a detailed email to Intercare.
