    I had tree service done by Reyes Professional Tree Service and Design and they failed to complete what was committed to. ******* (one of the owners) came out, provided me an estimate for $3000 stated they would remove/trim trees and remove 1 foot of dirt to help level out the area where palm trees were removed. I noticed after they left that the area where the palm trees were still had roots and the dirt that was to be removed was still there. I called ******** he stated he would scheduled to come out and finish the job but never showed. Called again ******** stated they had a big job and they would be out the following week. This happened on 4 occasions with calls placed to ******** where we scheduled days for the workers to show up and always met with no shows and just excuses. Finally ******* surfaced and spoke to my wife and he stated that the leveling was not part of job. I told them that I knew that wasn't part of the job to completely level the area but what we agreed on wasn't completed. During my conversation with ****************** also asked for my receipt (*******). He said they would mail it. Never happened. I paid cash not sure if that is the reason I can't get a receipt but again after multiple conversation nobody has responded to finish the job and I still don't have a receipt. During one of the conversations with ******** I voiced my frustration with and was met with I was being unreasonable. I stated that I understood that the area wasn't to be completely leveled but the 1 foot of dirt removal and additional roots I encountered needed to be addressed. ******** stated they would be back out and for me to send my address so they could mail out the receipt. This was 03/10/23 still no crew showed up and I haven't received my receipt. I looked at their reviews and they were terrible. I'm surprised they are still in business.     To Whom It May **************************** be advised that this complaint is being erroneously filed against our company. First of all, our business name is "Reyes Tree Services, ***** and not "Reyes Tree Service and Gardening". Second, the names and dates in this complaint do not correspond to any of our staff members or client history records. As such, please update your records to reflect this error and remove this complaint from our professional record at the BBB.

    On 8/30/22, two men came to my home to trim my tall pine tree. I had the company out previously on 11/20/20.On both occasions, they did very good work. On the first occasion, I requested a receipt for payment received, $500. cash. I was given a written receipt. On 8/30/22, I requested a receipt from the workers and they called their boss who informed me per phone that he would send me one by email. He, "Reyes" asked me to text him my email address and billing information and "Reyes" stated that he would send me a receipt. I never received the receipt and called again 9/6, 9/14. Both times, "Reyes" again requested a text with the necessary information and he assured me that I would receive a receipt. Again on 9/21 and 9/23, I was told by the same male, per phone, "oh, they haven't sent it yet?".. "send me a text with the information and I will do it myself". By 9/26, I still hadn't received the receipt. My husband called and left another message re-requesting a receipt for the work of 8/30/22. As I still haven't received a receipt, and it is now 4 weeks since the work was done, I have chosen to file a complaint and request assistance in obtaining a receipt. Thank you.
