Throughout my entire experience, the staff demonstrated unprofessionalism, irresponsibility, and rudeness. Specifically, **************************, and **** (two salesmen and the finance manager) were particularly unpleasant to deal with. Despite my 20 years of experience in sales, I have never encountered such a disrespectful and ill-mannered group of individuals. They ran my credit three times instead of the agreed-upon one, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Additionally, after securing approval and making arrangements to pick up the car, they shockingly sold it to someone else. Their explanation was both dismissive and disrespectful, indicating a complete lack of regard for my time and commitment to the purchase. The tone of voice and attitude displayed by these individuals were nothing short of appalling. Their actions and demeanor reflected a complete disregard for professionalism and basic courtesy. It seemed as though they operated with impunity, knowing there would be no consequences for their treatment of clients. I wish there were regulations for dealerships similar to those in the food industry, where audits ensure compliance with minimum standards to serve the public. These individuals have access to our credit, and their lack of knowledge can have a lasting impact on people's financial well-being with just the press of a key. This is utterly unacceptable.

There are many grey areas inside ************ state tax laws regarding vehicle sales, and how they are handled by dealerships, which is why it makes auto republic shady, by telling me I have to pay Cali state taxes (instead of me paying only the sales tax in the state I live in, like every other state) because I chose to go with my own loan company instead of going with their financing, or paying cash. The level of unprofessionalism towards me by the company's director of operations was completely uncalled for. He started the "conversation" by being very short with me, getting an attitude, continuously interrupting me while I tried to state my case, I had to over talk him multiple times while he insisted I knew nothing. The man was abbreviating unneeded amounts of profanity towards me while arguing that I had little to no understanding of how laws worked. If the man had any professionalism in him, we possibly could have reached an agreement, as I was wanting him to give me a link to the state of Cali's tax laws on paying their state tax when buying a vehicle, using my own finance company, and hiring a transport company to move said vehicle out of Cali to another state. I admit, I was wrong, I "POSSIBLY" would have been repaid by **** for paying its state tax after months to years of waiting, which no one should have to go through. But then after calling multiple dealerships in Cali, I was given a resounding amount of "you do not have to pay Cali sales tax if you are financing with your own loan company, and hiring your own vehicle delivery company to move said purchased vehicle out of the state". Weird... Why would the director of operations take such a defensive stance towards me calling them out if the ****** state facts, but at the same time I do my own research and inquire from various sources around the area, including multiple forums with cited works from the state of Cali, say I don't owe their state's sales tax by following the necessary steps, which I was?
