I went to get gas, the sign said cash $4.45 and said debit $4.60 I paid $20 in cash and my brother put $10 on his debit card. But they charge me the full $4.60 at the debit price? And did not reduce the price for the cash. They charged me the full price on my cash. And the sign clearly says cash is for $4.45. We were not told that they were going to charge us $4.60 for gas at the debit price I wanted my change money back for paying with cash $20

Firstly **** is no longer the store manager hasnt been for 3 years. As regards to this complaint, the lady did not come in to the store and pay for her gas. Her brother came in the store and asked for $30 on the pump. When he paid the $30 he used a $20 ***************** and put the remaining $10 on his Debit/Credit card. Once the debit card was used in the transaction the cost of the gas changes to the Debit/Credit price. In order to get the cash price for the gas they needed to pay the cash first go pump the gas and then come back in the store and put the $10 from their Debit/Credit payment. But by choosing the payment to be split tendered the price of gas is defaulted to the Debit/Credit price. We tried to explain to her that once the card was used in the transaction that it changed the entire transaction to the Debit/Credit price. She would not listen to us at all. All she did was scream at us and call us thieves and tell the customers in the store that we are thieves and stealing from her. Her receipt she submitted even shows that the purchase was done on debit and cash. This problem was brought on by how her brother chose to make the fuel purchase cause again she was not the person to come in and make the fuel purchase. He told the cashier he wanted $30 on the pump and was going to split the payment between debit and cash.

I am rejecting this response because:. First I never screamed second. She did offer me my money back. If I said I was wrong third Other customer came uupto me and asked me what was wrong Fourth, the cashier never told my brother to pay it different, but there wasn't They just let him do it and didn't say a word. Oh, you know, you're gonna get the price at the debit. They didn't do that

Its not my cashiers job nor is it any cashiers job to tell a customer how to spend their money. The customer clearly seen the sign that shows 2 different prices for paying cash or card. Its on the customer to notify the cashier what they want to pay for. And as first stated the lady making this complaint is not the person that came into pay for the fuel purchase. And the other unfortunate is she did come inside the store afterwards demanding her money and began yelling at the cashiers. There is video evidence of this happening.

I am rejecting this response because: It is the cashier's job that tell the customer And the lady keeps referring that I wasn't the one that was my brother and he helped me write these complaints And the sign said a particular price for cash cash was paid. And debit card? Let's see the lady's video where she offered me the money back. And then refused  to give it to me. Cause I refuse to say I was wrong.
