Order # ****** Date ordered: 5-13-25 Date received: 5-17-25 Product price breakdown:Chainsaw: $79.99 Black carrying case: $9.99 2-year warranty: $19.99 Shipping: $9.99 Total price paid: $119.96 Item ordered: Wood Ranger mini chainsaw Dispute issue: DEFECTIVE spring in protective bar guard Response from company: Refusal of any refund Order site: PO Box *****, *****, **, ***** I ordered this item on ******** and delivery confirmation shows it was delivered via carrier: Amazon_shipping_US tracking #: TBA321401465267 It arrived in the black carry case which I also paid for. That case was wrapped in a simple opened-ended cardboard box allowing it to EASILY slide out of the box from one side or the other. No shrink wrap or seal was provided. In trying to assemble it, I discovered the spring on the protective bar guard is defective. This spring is to keep the bar guard in place over the rotating blades to protect the user should the blade come loose while in action. The spring design is a mirror image opposite to what the bar guard needs for it to fit in place; thus it is defective and unusable for this product. I called 'support' with photo evidence and was told no refund is allowed because it must be in its 'original condition'. They say it must be SEALED, UNOPENED, IN ORIGINAL CONDITION for a refund. However, the website states: "If you change your mind after purchasing, or you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have the option to return it to us within 30 days of having taken delivery." Their immediate email response was to take no responsibility for any defects. Research notes that many other buyers have found the same results from this company, thus proving they have no intention of standing behind their product regardless of the issue. I want a full refund and ask that you enjoin them to issue one. ****** **** **************************************** ************
