We owned the Kahuna massage chair Hubot HM-078 3D massage chair since 2021. Several weeks past the 3-year warranty period it stopped working. They would not extend the warranty, and could not guarantee that purchasing expensive parts, which I would have to install, would fix the problem. They had an "upgraded" version of Hubot-078 4D advertised for sale, which we bought on the assumption it would be similar to the HM-078 version we had, but with added features. It turned out to be a completely different chair without any of the programs of the earlier version. It is deceptive marketing to us the same model number for a different chair, and to post reviews for the old chair along with reviews for the new version, when they are substantially different chair. We asked for a full refund and for Kahuna to take responsibility for the pickup and the return of the chair. They offered to accept the return of the chair under their satisfaction guarantee, which has a substantial restocking fee. We contend that they have misrepresented the chair as an "upgrade" of the previous version, and we deserve a full refund. We also request that they clarify in their advertising that this is a different chair, not use the same model number and not use reviews from the discontinued other chair.
