The Hispanic Scholarship Fund for multiple years have designated me as a scholar, and makes it seem as though once you are selected as a scholar, you will receive a scholarship between $500 and $5,000. For multiple years I have spent hours applying, obtaining faculty recommendations, and have written essays describing my qualifications. I have been designated as a scholar, but receive an email that the funds are exhausted. *** needs to be transparent with their selection of who amongst the scholars is chosen to receive the funds. A simple search on Reddit will show the numerous other students that have been slapped in the face by *** after being told congrats they are a scholar but that they will receive no ************************* the attached denial email note "access to a full range of ************************* including career services, mentorship, leadership development, knowledge building, and wellness training" -- yet there were no instructions or additional information to access any of these services. Therefore, the Scholar designation is meaningless since there is no value in the rigorous application process.

Something is awfully suspicious with this Non-Profit. I have wasted three times applying and have been designated a scholar, yet they always claim funds are exhausted. There is something going on here. They should be investigated. This is demeaning latinos and misrepresenting our community. Applied three times, won three times, never got ************ time is ok, two times you forgive, and three times you report. See something, say something.I want a detailed explanation why this happens and who are the winners. List them, get a itemized report. Meanwhile, funding must be achieved by pitching all our informations only to fall short and sell our information. Only claiming we are their scholar, but without a scholarship. Only one of the awards is valued at $5,000. I never got, this for three winning years, cumulatively it should have been *****. That is fraud.
