  Intracommunity Home Care went so many extra miles to help my mother-in-law get a portable oxygen concentrator. Her doctors office was having a hard time replying in a timely manner to give her a prescription for the device, so ********* at IHC called the office to aid the transaction. After the prescription came through, they made an appointment to thoroughly explain how to use the device, and called back several times to make sure everything was going well. They thought of things my MIL might want before she even brought it up. Whats really hard to express is how comfortable they made her feel during the whole process. In the weeks that followed, my MIL called us to tell us that she was using her increased ease of mobility to get out in her garden and to take walks around her neighborhood. Having such personalized attention during the process made a huge difference in her quality of life.

  My husband had cancer surgery at ************. When the Doctor ordered the supplies Intracommunity refused to process the order. They will NOT submit orders if you have an open ********* comp case. My husband has lifetime coverage for knee replacements. ******** told us to tell them to submit the request and they would pay. They refused and wanted full payment from us. We canceled the order. They are not a reputable company. There are many reviews where they have demanded payment when ******** paid.

  Respectfully, when there is an open workmans comp claim ******** stipulates that this insurance becomes patients primary insurance until the case is closed. This also depends on the patients diagnosis which is not listed. We only charge payment that is due us after the insurance pays. ******** does not cover 100 percent cost of everything.You may close the workers comp case and we can review the eligibility of the patient and let you know if I what is being ordered will be covered. Thank you.
