I enlisted for ******************************* month-to-month Open Heart Membership on Sep 4, 2023, 9:24?AM. I searched the website on how to Cancel this Membership and could only find vague words of '(email to cancel)' on the membership page in small print with 'Month-to-Month' written in large print on that same page, thus I emailed my request for cancellation on Oct 1, 10:16?PM. I did not hear any response and thus emailed a second time on Oct 3, 6:23?PM. I received the following response on Oct 4, 2023, 6:55?PM "Your cancellation was already processed. But it does take 5-7 business days so your access will end on November 4th." Despite my cancellation prior to the next subscription cycle, I was charged for the membership that I requested to cancel. In honor and in alignment with Cal. ********************** Code ***** (The statute requires businesses to disclose subscription terms in a clear and conspicuous manner, including cancellation information, and obtain affirmative consent before charging consumers debit or credit cards on a recurring basis.) I emailed a request for a refund on Oct 10, 2023, 9:16 for there was no disclosure on the website of a need to cancel the month-to-month membership X amount a days prior to its renewal, plus I requested prior to the renewal date. There was no response, thus I emailed again my request for a refund on Oct 16th. On Oct 18, 2023, I was given a link to the membership page and told that the terms of cancellation where on there; the website was updated from it stating reading '(email to cancel)' [I have a screenshot from Oct 12, 2023 showing this] to '(cancel anytime via email after 45 days)' [Updated sometime after Oct 12 but before Oct 18] . On Nov 2, *************************************************************** policy; there was no response as of today, Nov 8, 2023. I came in honor each time with my request and I was not met in honor with honesty and transparency. I request that this unauthorized charge to be refunded.
