    8/23/24 I went to Jiffy for a routine oil change. It was time to replace my air ************** filter too so all 3 svcs were done & paid($200). Didn't drive until 8/28/2024:Engine light came on, car started to sputter & sound weird when pressing gas. 8/29/24:took car to dealership to get diagnostic tests. I was informed a code came up requiring further inspection(quote $370). Informed me my recent air filter rplcmnt was installed incorrectly & at an angle causing a restriction on airflow & stuttering while accelerating. Incorrect installation allowed ******************* to dirty mass air flow sensor. Air flow ***************** body compensation at limit & needed a body cleaning & new air filter. After other findings, charges increased to $595. Dealership completed services that day, & immediately after I went to Jiffy to discuss issues & ask for a reimbursement as their services caused other issues & unexpected costs. ******,ast. store manager, had me complete an incident report & told me I would get a call next morning from mgr. Beginning 8/30/24 - I had to call Jiffy every time to get info or a call back. I initiated every conversation, Spoke with ast ************** mgr ***** *. I provided a photo from the dealership of the incorrect installation of air filter. They said it wasn't enough & needed the part, which I couldn't get b/c I was told days too late. Jiffy refuses to admit any wrongdoing. There has been 10 calls all initiated by me, the customer, & not ********************** trying to resolve the situation. They said I could watch video of service but even if I brought someone in who could positively confirm they did it wrong, it wouldn't change anything. They blame dealership & take no responsibility for the error that caused $595 of extra costs instead of just the original $200 I paid at Jiffy Lube 8/23. Mgr. & Ast. Mgr. have not tried to apologize or resolve the situation at all. I have received terrible customer service when trying to understand & get answers.
