On September 4, 2024, I hired O'Conner Pest Control to address the cause of rodent droppings found in my condo.
Their representative came and told me his company could handle it. He filled out a one-year contract. He did not tell me other options his company has for payment or timing of work. (See uploaded contact)
Because I was quite rattled by evidence of rodents and unaware of other options, I signed the year-long contract and gave him a voided check. $1800 was taken from my account by O'Conner Pest Control.

Between Sept 4-Oct 11 (six weeks) they have only come 5 times. It was critical to check their traps frequently, look for entry points-but this didn't happen. Once time there was two week between contact. I called and only then did they send a technician. Numerous promises were made to send a technician asap were not followed through with.
Oct 11 was the day I decided they weren't living up to the agreement and I wanted to end the contract.
Speaking to an administrative employee on the phone I asked to speak to the branch manager who wasn't available, this employee said that I had choices: to end the contract and get a refund. She said she would tell the branch manager my intent: to end the contract and get a refund. A technician came two days later, I told him I was done with O'Conner Pest Control-he then left.
Their traps are still in my condo, non-effective. Two nights ago, I saw a rat on my nightstand about eight inches away.
I am not sleeping at my home because of ongoing rodent activity.

**My intent is to end my contract with O'Conner Pest Control, not have any repercussions following, and to pay for:
-a board nailed to the bottom of my front door
-a hole patched in my front wall including a wire mesh installed inside site of hole
-some goop applied around drain pipes in two bathrooms.

I would like a refund for the balance of the $1800 after my payment of items done (the amount within reason)

    Thank you for your help,
    C******* ******. Oct 15, 2024
