  I hired Connie Stone on 9/6/22. After selling my business in ** on 4/13/22 and opening a new business in **, I needed a CA accountant. I told her I needed someone to do my taxes for the sale and my new business. I provided her with my GA accountant's contact info and access to my Quickbooks. On 3/13/23, I sent her documentation to complete my 2022 taxes. She responded on 3/18/23 saying she was happy to prepare them. On 4/10/23, I followed up to see if there was anything else I needed to provide. She responded that taxes were extended to October, she wasn't in a rush and I would hear from her soon. On 9/21/23, after not hearing from her, I e-mailed her and asked what she needed. I did not receive a response. On 10/2/23, I followed up. On 10/3/23, she responded saying she didn't have any of my information and was waiting for me to make an appointment, even though I had sent her everything in March. I re-sent her all of the documentation. On 10/10/23 I contacted her & asked that if she couldn't help me, to let me know so I could find someone else. On 10/12/23 she responded that my taxes were ready to be picked up, she offered days I could retrieve them. on 10/12/23 I responded and let her know I stopped by her office but she wasnt there and asked what days would work. I retrieved them on 10/13/23 and she told me I owed no money. I was surprised because of my business sale. She said she had forgotten and would need to amend my taxes. She amended the returns on 6/24/24. I returned the signed returns on 8/8/24. On 9/4/24 I went to her office to ask why the returns hadn't been filed with GA or the ***. She said it takes awhile. On 9/20/24 I followed up with no response. on 9/25/24 I followed up. On 9/27/24 I followed up. On 10/3/24 I went to her office and she said my electronic returns were rejected. She never contacted to tell me. She said she sent them via mail but could not provide a date they were sent. She has been non communicative and unresponsive.
