    The billing practices at MarinHealth are at best incompetent -- at worst unethical. I have been trying for months to get the billing office to send me the exact claim information they sent to ******** so I can use that information in documenting an appeal to ******** for a denied claim. The billing office will only send me a list of claims they submitted to ******** -- which does me no good. The billing office insists they can not send me exactly what they sent to ******** for services provided on September 26, 2023 -- all the documentation -- although I am the patient and agreed to sign any necessary release of information forms. The billing office sent me to medical records. I called medical records and they said they don't handle billing information. I have tried to speak to a supervisor in the billing office. No one has called me back. I tried to find a number on the ************ website to file a complaint. No such recourse exists. I called the ********** of ************ in ********** but they don't handle billing issues and I called the ********** ******************** and they don't handle billing issues. I know ***************** uses a third party billing company and I can't find out which one. I am a senior citizen and this is bordering on elder abuse as they refuse to supply the information I need and am ***********, and are charging me in full for a visit that ******** should cover -- or least allow me to find out what they submitted so I can understand if ********'s denial is accurate. The billing office also refused to resubmit the claim in the event that they made an error or ******** made an error.
