We picked up the 2017 Lexus RX350 on Nov 06 2023 as an impound from Johnboy's Towing in San Luis Obispo, Ca. This Lexus was in Johnboy's yard for 41 days before we secured it. The car is in S*** *************'s name who is the mother of S***** Ha. All items in the Lexus were removed prior to being shipped on Dec 27th 2023. S***** called multiple times to secure his personal belongings but never had to money to do so. We even lowered the price in order to work with him. We are required by law (BPC 7507.9)  to hold personal property for 60 days.  S***** picked up his personal property on February 5th 2024 which is 91 days from the date we picked up the Lexus. S***** called on February 7th, 2024 at 9:43am and stated his phone and ear buds were missing and we told him everything that  was in the Lexus when we picked it up was given to him. He stated "Ok, Thank you"

I am rejecting this response because: although I do appreciate them holding my stuff for longer than usual and the discount provided it still isn't an excuse for theft of some of my items.

    Regards,

This business is a repossession company in Grover Beach. On Friday July 22nd, 2022 I paid the amount of money I owed to the credit union my vehicles loan is through. The credit union sent the release of the vehicle to Central Coast Recovery on Friday at 12:38pm. I waited until about 1:22pm to try to schedule a time to pick up my vehicle, but the call went to voicemail after about six rings. At that time I left them a voicemail asking for a call back, I then called them again from my work phone around 3:30pm attempting get ahold of someone before they closed at 4pm for the weekend. I still was unable to get ahold of someone so I left a voicemail again asking for a call back. I tried again one more time on Friday and gave up for the weekend since they are only open Mondays through Fridays from 9am to 4pm. On Monday, I did attempt again to contact them three separate times in order to try to pick up my vehicle. Again, no one answered the phone. I even drove there to try to see if there was anyone in office but there wasn't. I called SESLOC, my credit union, and I was advised that they would contact the company first thing in the morning to let them know I am trying to reach them. On Tuesday morning I tried to call them at 8:30am as well as at 9am when they opened and was not able to speak to anyone. I got a call back about 10 minutes later from Jasmine at the company who told me that they received my many voicemails that morning but they were not in their office after 1pm Friday up until 9am Tuesday morning. At that point I asked that since I had attempted to reach them to pick up my vehicle Friday afternoon if it is possible to waive the fees for Saturday, Sunday and Monday since I did attempt to reach them but did not was not made aware by anyway that they were closed early Friday or Monday. They said no and still required me to pay $320 for storage fees to retrieve my vehicle.
