    After being promised and reassured over 2 discussions that I would be receiving dry seasoned almond wood that "***** beautiful" I was shocked and appalled to have delivered super saturated, heavy, moldy, unburnable almond wood that was caked in thick mud like it been dug out of a mudpit. Trying to burn this nasty wood anyways with 3 raging kindling fires and firestarter sticks resulted in nothing but hissing, sizzling, obnoxious smoking, but absolutely no igniting. Testing with the moisture meter proved an average of 35-48% moisture content. Accounting for "surface moisture" we let several pieces sit inside for 2 weeks next to our woodstove while having to resort to expensive ******* boxed hardwood. Putting one of those indoor pieces on a raging fire literally put the entire fire out. I have over 5 years experience with a wood burning fireplace and now 1 year with an awesome efficient woodstove that I have had hundreds of hot successful fires in with various seasoned hardwoods. Upon complaining about this terrible product I was promised a remedy to swap out the wood or a refund. It has been a month and the disgusting almond is still taking up precious space on my property.I gave these people and company every understanding I could considering the wet hard winter we have had. But the owners of Firewood Farms, ***** and *******, have zero integrity in their product or word. The last loathsome encounter I had with ***** in person, with no other customers around, he proceeded to insult my fire building skills and mocked my hardship in having to spend hundreds of dollars on ******* wood. He completely went back on any intention of rectifying the situation and I have never been so mistreated by a stranger in my entire life, let alone a business owner who claims to be a professional. He displayed a serious anger management issue and alarmed me with a potential bipolar disorder as he behaved the exact opposite not two weeks prior promising a refund.
