Our small business called Fusion ********** Bar was in the early stages of development back in 2021. A building permit in the *************** does take a very long time, so after we began concept & planning, our project was put on hold for over a year and a half while we waited for the building permit to be approved (This is why there is a delay in filing this complaint almost 2 years from the date the purchase was made). In November of 2021, we began working with the owner, *******************. ***** sent us a copy of the quotation as well as a proposal. We spoke with him regularly via ****** meets, and several times on the phone. The agreement as stated in the proposal was to include Equipment (listed in attached proposal), installation & training, licensing & support, etc. The total amount for all of this was $22,386.00. As mentioned in the quotation, an initial deposit of 50% was required which was paid on 11/15/2021 in the amount of $*********. During the design phase to have our RFID cards created, the owner, *******************, asked us to submit the remainder of the payment to proceed with the design of RFID cards. This was in December of 2021, and in good faith, we sent an additional payment of $*********. Over the course of 2022, we have several e-mails where we would periodically check in with the owner *****, letting him know that we were still waiting for the building permit before we could proceed with the installation of the equipment. Communication during that time was fine. In early 2023, we finally received the pre-approval for our building permit and started communicating regularly with *****, the owner again. REMAINING INFORMATION WILL BE ATTACHED in word Doc as it will not fit in the allowed space.
