Initial contact 08/22/23 when Nova Gym Repair (NGR) sent a technician to repair my home NordicTrack treadmill. The office said this was their only NordicTrack certified technician. The technician said he could repair it. He spent **** minutes checking things and said it needs a new motherboard. He didn't have one and said I would have to order it from a company in *********. I thought it strange that ******** didn't order the part and bill me, but I had to order it, and they charged for shipping. When I got the part, he can out to install it, but that didn't fix it. So he said if that doesn't fix it then it has to be the motor. So I had to pay shipping charges to mail it back to Tennessee, and order the new motor. When I got the motor, he came out tp installed it, but that didn't fix it. So he said if that doesn't fix it then it has to be both the motor and motherboard. And he said that he could get a new motherboard for about $100 less than the other one, so he obtained this new motherboard on his own. When he got the new motherboard, he came out to install that along with the motor I had already gotten, but that didn't fix it. So he said if that doesn't fix it then it has to be the electronic board, which costs a lot more than the other two parts. At that point I said no thanks, I'm not going to have it fixed. So I had to pay shipping charges to have to motor shipped back to Tennessee, and the company ended up giving me two credits on my credit card. I send a letter to Novo Gym Repair on 12/04/23 saying that since the technician said he could repair my treadmill, but was not able to repair it after several attempts to replace different parts, I expect them to refund me all the money I spent to try and get my machine repaired.(ie $318.21). ******** has not responded to my letter.
