    ******* Leak detection representative over the phone told us that they would be able to check the sewer lateral as well as the waterlines to see if there is a leak. They also said that they would give us a detailed report of findings. They came over and the person doing the work said they do not do sewer lateral and that was miss information. They also gave us a one page report basically stating that they came over to check for leaks and no leak was found without any further detail information or mapping of the house. They also promise to use fancy equipment to map the water of the house but they did not do that. This is absolute fraud company and they are requesting $500 for their service call.

    On 17 January, USA Leak Detector came out to map what we believed was a leak in our pipes. They let us know that they would need to bring in specialized equipment to check the leak since we believed it to be underneath our slab flooring. They came back on 20 January to supposedly map out the pipes using their imaging equipment and promised me a video of the problem. By the following Monday, I had not received the video and contacted them again. On Monday 23 January they came and laid down red tape supposedly where the potential break in the pipe would be and told me that they would need to jackhammer the bathroom floor to get to the leak and cap off the line. I balked at the price of their estimate, as it was almost $8000.00, and hired one of their competitors, Advanced Plumbing (who we had worked with before) to do the same work for $1000.00 less. Advanced Plumbing came out on 28 January to excavate the area and provided me with photographic proof that USA Leak Detector had lied--there was no leak in the area, and there were not any pipes where USA Leak Detector claimed them to be. Now USA Leak Detector is asking for $550.00 for their initial service call and $799.00 for the second call, and I have no intention of paying based on the fact that THERE WERE NO PIPES AND NO LEAK.
