Do not purchase a computer from this organization. I have filed complaints with the BBB, the Attorney General of CA, as well as the ************************* They do not answer their phone or email. Problems with the 2 laptaps we ordered include battery issues (will not hold a charge), performance issues, hard drive on one "a bust" as said by their own technician. This company is advertising as a non-profit....shameful! Claiming to help underprivileged kids with the costs associated with higher education. After numerous calls and complaints, some of which blamed my kids for 'viruses' even though they have virus protection software they update regularly, we filed complaints and requested a full refund. Then, after over two months with inoperable computers (including during finals week), they decide to send postage for ** to send them both back to them for 'service'. Outrageous! They should be shut down.

*** is incorporated as a nonprofit public benefit corporation. Please see ******************************************* for details. This customer contacted *** two years after the purchase date. She was covered by the *** FREE 4-year warranty and was immediately emailed a prepaid *** shipping label to send the units back for service. One unit needed a new battery and one a new hard drive. Not unusual after two years of use. The customer refused to send the units in for service and insisted on a full refund. *** denied the refund as this would be unfair to the other ***** families presently enrolled in the free warranty. The customer did not send the units in for repair for over two months. Once received the units were repaired and shipped back. Under the free 4-year warranty, *** has completed ***** hardware repairs, conducted over ***** remote service sessions, and distributed over ***** replacement batteries and charging cords. This equates to a savings of $502,000.00 in computer service costs for our customers.
