I dropped off Mothers ** here to get serviced after the sherriff recovered it from known criminals. When I dropped it off everything went smoothly. Subsequently less than a week later I went in to get my stolen items that the known criminals had put inside the ** (including a hard drive that contains my private pwrsonaly identifiable information) from the ** which was was supposed to be serviced. Upon taking my stuff that Range (they claimed to have carefully and judiciously separated trash from nontrash as the known criminals left the inside in dissarray) boxed and bagged for me, to my home I noticed items that are not considered trash missing and trashy items that were not mine that the criminals used included (such as used sexual items as an open tube of KY jelly and an ashtray [I dont smoke, I have asthma] and other criminal paraphanalia considered trash not thrown away nor given to the sherriff and items of value (mainly electronics and tools) missing. I went in to the service department the next day to ask for claryfication and they "felt insulted" and "felt threatened for their lives" (grown men over 250lb in weight smoking with beards and tattooos cursing and yelling at me and giving me the finger telling me that "your a psycho", "your a drug addict" then "your a criminal tresspasser". Once they labled me a tresspasser I left and went on about my business. My desire is for them to give me my valuable electronics back that they took from me without my permission while the vehicle was waiting for an adjuster. They promised me when I had originally dropped the vehicle off that they would not touch anything and give me plenty of time to come back and pick up what I identified as valuables that I pointed out to ****** that day I dropped off the Vehicle. I want my stuff back. They should not be taking customer items without permission and honoring their agreements. I want my valuables teturned to me.

************** dropped off a trailer belonging to someone else.  We were advised by the owner of the trailer that it had been stolen for 3 months and it was brought in for an insurance estimate.  The owner said she did not want to go inside the coach as it was trashed, she asked us to remove everything in the coach and throw away any food and food wrappers.  This was done and everything else was put on a pallet which ************** retrieved for the owner.  The next day ************** came hot and was accusing us of having stole some electronics.  When he was told everything that was in the coach was on the pallet he had picked up he became upset and told us we should "be afraid".  He accused us of "having the unit stolen" and was demanding to know who we hired to do it.  He was asked to leave, he keep making a scene and the police were called.  A police report was filed with the ******** ************ along camera footage of the incident.

I am rejecting this response because (please read the following):

Re: Response to Range RV's Statement (Complaint ID: 20851809)

    Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to address the statement provided by Range RV in response to my initial complaint. I firmly believe that their portrayal of events is inaccurate and omits crucial details, and I wish to provide a clearer picture of the situation.
    1. Original Agreement Misrepresented:
The **, indeed, belonging to my mother and my spouse (they purchased the vehicle from range RV and purchased the extended warranty from them), was dropped off at Range RV following its recovery. While it's true that the ** was brought in for an insurance estimate, and there was a request to remove food and wrappers, the agreement with ******, a staff member, explicitly included my return to retrieve personal valuables before any further handling. This crucial part of our agreement was not honored.
    2. Discrepancies in Property Handling:
Upon collecting the items, I found valuable electronics and tools missing, which were pointed out as items not to be discarded. Contrary to Range RV's claim, not everything from the ** was on the pallet provided to me. The inclusion of irrelevant and inappropriate items, and the absence of valuable possessions, suggests negligence in handling the property.
    3. Mischaracterization of My Conduct:
My return to the service department was to seek clarification on the missing items. I did not "come in hot" nor did I threaten anyone. The accusations of making threatening remarks are unfounded. My intention was to resolve the issue amicably and understand the whereabouts of my missing property.
    4. Police Involvement and Footage:
I acknowledge the police were called, but I vehemently deny any allegations of making threats. Any camera footage will corroborate that my demeanor was of frustration but not threatening.
    5. Desired Resolution Reiterated:
I restate my initial desired outcomes:
The return of my missing valuable electronics and tools.
Compensation for the relocation of the ** due to Range RV's refusal to continue service.
A retraction of defamatory statements made to third parties, including the police and the ** insurance company.
I trust the BBB will consider both sides of the story and assist in achieving a fair resolution. I am prepared to provide any necessary documentation or further clarification as needed.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
    Sincerely,
    *******************

    Business Response

    Date: 12/07/2023

We have read the response to our prior response and still disagree with his accusations and stand by our view of his behavior.  If his electronics (and now tools) were missing they probably were stolen by the people who stole and used the trailer for two months.   ************** stated he had not even been inside the trailer because of it's condition when he dropped it off.   There were never any of the "missing" items in the coach at time of drop off.  This is an insurance matter and his or her insurance should cover his claims.  He could claim the tow to another location as well.  ********************* (companies) should be able to help him.
