    Purchased spirit on 12/23/24. Was charged approximately $472.50 plus $250 for insurance that was supposed to be fully refundable. I contacted the retailer on 1/4/25 about the shipment and was told there would be a custom fee of $650. I declined that fee and communicated that i would like to cancel my order and get a refund. I was told i would not be refunded. These fees were not communicated prior to me calling regarding the shipment. The $650 custom fee raised my suspicion level which is why I decided not to go further with this transaction.The transaction occurred on ******** via All Star Liquor Express business chat function.     My name is ***** *******, I represent All Star Liquors Express and its sister company All Star Liquors in the capacity as General Manager of our operations. While we are dismayed to learn of this individual's experience with an entity purporting to be All Star Liquors Express on ******** we are unfortunately not the entity that this individual was in contact with. We have previously identified the site that this individual had contacted and subsequently reported this site to ******** as a fraudulent site, at this time ******** has not communicated back to us in any way nor does it appear that they have taken any action against them.

    All Star Liquors Express does not engage in eCommerce activities via our social media channels, we use social media purely for customer engagement and communications. ********************** does not ship alcohol outside of the state of ********** as the regulatory environment for spirits is not favorable for a retailer to do so. If we did engage in such a business we would not be asking for such exorbitant costs such as $250 for insurance and $650 for customs, especially since we can think of no reason why there would be customs on a transfer of goods domestically.

    The reported individual, ***** ********, is not an employee of either of our business entities and has no relationship with with either entity in any capacity.
