    I tried to do a return and the ************* refused my return!

    I called and spoke to this customer about his return yesterday 2/11/25 and he said he was refused the return because he did not have his receipt. (It is our company policy to have the receipt to make a return). I asked him if he would like to come back to make the return, we would just need to know the day he was here so we could search for his receipt in our system. The customer said they didnt know what day but sometime in January. I then asked if they could maybe check their bank statement to see what day they had come to the store and the customer stated that he closed his bank account so he couldnt look at a bank statement to tell us what day he was here. I then offered to make the refund as a customer accommodation and they stated that they gave the product they were trying to return away as a gift.

    On 12/09/24 I sumbitted my application and paid the fee of $125 to take my exam. Prior to this I had gine personally to the college and spoke with someone who had look over my paper work and confrimed all documentaion was in order. However on 12/09/24 at time of testign my paperwork was denied due to a signature from that I was told would be signed before taking the exam. I was told to obtain the signature but no refund would be provided and I would have to pay the $125 again in order to reschdule my exam. I requested to speak to a supervisor and no respond. I dont understand why I would haveto repay $125 when the school is linked to this college as a testing site and they are refusing to refund the amount.

    I have mailed a package along with a money order to retake a exam. They have provided me with the wrong testing location when I specifically mentioned which locations I wanted. I have emailed them twice and nobody has gotten back to me. Also they never answers their phones.

    Hello,

    We received your letter and are responding to the complaint issued.  We register students for their nurse assistant certification exams throughout Southern **********.  The applicants send in their registration applications with a requested first choice and second choice on their registration applications.  *********** applicants forget or indicate the incorrect information on their registration applications.  We do our best to complete registrations for the desired location.  However, the applicants' first choice indicated a location that has two locations, one that closed several months ago and was not advertised.  We invertedly believed the applicant incorrectly requested a closed location and wanted to test at the open location.  We completed registration for the open requested first location and sent confirmation to the applicant.

    We later received an email on 1/23/24 from the applicant indicating that he wanted to test at his second requested location.  We went ahead and rescheduled the applicant for the second location and emailed the of the rescheduled exam.

    The applicant has taken the exam and is awaiting certification from the ********** ********** of ****** Health.

    We believed that this issue was already resolved and were surprised to hear that a complaint was filed.

    I need to renew my Certified Nursing Assistant license with the state of *****. I was referred to Golden West from ********** **** of ****** Health to schedule a required testing date. They only way of doing this is through the mail system. After several times of mailing the required documents to secure a date, (its based on 1st come 1st served) I received a phone call from the college. I was unable to understand and hear the voicemail because the person spoke to low. I immediately called the number back several times and I got their voicemail. I left several messages. No one called me back to clarify what their message was. So I missed out on a vital testing date. I received notice in the mail of this, I had to redo another application with different dates and send that in again with hopes I could secure that date. In the meantime my window is closing because I was on a time limit. I gave the college two dates for possible testing. During the time it took for the college to get back to me with approval, one of those dates was no longer an option for me. The college informed with several weeks later of a new date and that was the date that was not an. I had to find another vendor and pay the required fees to schedule a testing date. I was able to get dates that fit my schedule, I was able to talk to someone on the phone, pay online and all this was done within 1 day. I sent an email to Golden West to ask for a refund, and informed them I no longer would be testing with them. Golden West sent notice that I could not receive my money back. I was informed by other vendors the State of ***** contracted with them because Golden West has made this process really hard. I'm requesting my money back from Golden West as I will not be testing with them. Golden West only accepted money orders
