    Left me an unsolicited text message asking for a person not associated with my phone number, and then continued texting for that person even after I informed them of the mistake.

    I received predatory texts indicative of social engineering tactics from a 657 area code phone number to my personal device, stating, "Hey, is this *insert my first name*" and, "*insert first name*, have I reached the right number?" I responded with, "Who is this?" and received an immediate response from someone named "****", who then attempted to promote a "fresh start program." I immediately replied with a formal cease and desist statement. I went to this company's website and checked LinkedIn, and there is no information about their CEO or other executives on their website or LinkedIn. This company doesn't even have a searchable LinkedIn page, presuming they're legitimate. I do not know how they procured my personal cell phone number and my name. If BBB requires evidence, I can provide screenshots and cellular provider records upon request.
