    On June 17th I received a quote to repair a problem with my cars transmission. Then on June 20th a received a modified quote for a lower price due to them making a pricing error. I arranged to drop off the vehicle on July 4th. On July 6th I received an email saying the car was ready for collection. I then received another email later that day saying they had made a mistake and it was not ready for collection and to call them. This is when email communications from them stopped even though I continued to email. Now they would only reply by calling my phone.They told me via phone that my vehicle now needed more work, over 3 times the original quote. I went down there to speak to them as this seemed absurd to me. They convinced me with technical jargon that this is what needed doing to make my vehicle safe. I then spoke with the mechanic in the shop to discover to my surprise that they had already began the work before my approval and now there was no going back! So reluctantly I said just get it done because I needed my car back.Since the work was completed the car still has the initial problem it went in for, plus a new problem with the transmission that now makes the car un-drivable. I have returned it twice via tow truck to have them fix the problem under warranty. Both times they have failed to fix it and the problem with the transmission they rebuilt presents itself right away making the car un-drivable. I have now taken it to another shop to diagnose. They are telling me the transmission has had a bad rebuild by California Performance Transmission and will need rebuilding again. I cannot afford to pay for this job twice so California Performance Transmission needs to refund me for their poor quality work so as I can have the car repaired correctly elsewhere. I have spent $3,500 with them plus several AAA tows and lots of gas/time, the car was usable when it went in and now $3,500 later it is unusable due to them poorly rebuilding the transmission.
