    If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I’m appalled at the way I’ve been treated as a paying customer for more than a year. I brought 2 dresses in recently to have the elastic replaced in the sleeves. When I picked the items up, and after paying more than $100 (certainly not true to their “value” name) for 2 simple alterations and a blouse, I realized one of the dresses hadn’t been fixed at all. The sleeves were left exactly as I brought them in. The other dress looked like a child had sewn the elastic and basically ruined the dress. And still I paid $107.

    What’s worse is that when I first brought the items back to show them the problem, the owner **** wasn’t there. So I was instructed to call back in the morning. When I did, rather than apologizing for the confusion—especially since they couldn’t even find record of my alteration at all—**** proceeded to tell me there is nothing they can do and argue whether there was any issue at all. The way I was treated is unacceptable. It was as if I was crazy for raising any issue, when the fault is completely on them. I will absolutely not be going back here and warn anyone from going here.

    We had agreed to a refund with the customer concerning the issues she encountered. But she was unwilling to leave her complaint satisfied with a refund. She wanted to discredit and unfairly criticize the process it took to issue her a refund. She was aggressive in nature and belittled my attempts to find out exactly what the issue was as I was not the person she dealt with initially.  Just because someone calls on the phone and demands a refund doesn't mean, as a small business owner, I hand over money. I need to fact check the situation and after doing so, I can confidently offer a solution to remedy the problem. This is exactly what happened and it is unfortunate this customer decided to disparage and vilify my business online and with the BBB.

    For a company to rescind an offer for a refund because of a poor review—that they were informed would happen—shows the level of disrespect this business has for its customers. From the beginning, **** was unwilling to do any extra digging to look into the issue with the order. It was as if it was the customer’s fault that they didn’t have any record of the order. A respectful response would have been to offer to look into the issue and uncover which order it was on their end, without belittling the customer. There was absolutely no understanding initially or willingness to work with the customer. It was only when he reluctantly spoke to one of his employees that any record of my failed order was found, which should have been offered at the beginning, rather than blaming the customer for not having record of the order. In the end, the treatment of the customer in this situation was disgraceful and a poor review is warranted.
