We had a water softener system installed a few years ago. After installation, I purchased 6 bags of salt to refill the brine tank. After all these years, I still have 3 bags because the system is not working properly. I have called 4 times and had someone come out to check and each time they make an adjustment and charge me a pricey service call. The last time they came out for a blockage I thought it was fixed....now it is giving me the same problems and I don't know what to do as I will have to pay them again to fix what should have been fixed last time! Please help!

July 5 we noticed our Culligan regen tank leaking. Tech ***** came on July 6 to repair leak in tank.  Shortly after he left, we flushed master bath toilet & the line blew out causing water to spew out all over.  I was able to shut it off before it caused any major damage-just a lot of water and a huge mess.  I called ***** who wasn't far away.  He came back, said the line had blown out, that it was a “coincidence” & had nothing to do with the “repair” he had just completed. Heck of a “coincidence.” He told me to go out & buy a replacement line & that he would install it.  I ran over to Home Depot, bought the line, & ***** returned & installed it.  I provided supervisor **** at Culligan a receipt for the line which he volunteered to pay for (we didn’t ask) - he never did. Later same evening, we noticed we no longer had water pressure in the house: water was not coming out of any faucets, showers & was not going into the washer.  I called the Culligan after-hours emergency number-twice.  I finally heard back from tech **** after 10. I told him what the problem was & he said he was confident he knew what happened & would be able to fix it - that he'd be able to get our water back on but he said he would not be able to get here for about an hour & a half due to how far away he was.  We agreed because we had no water & did not want to wait until the next day.  **** arrived abt 11:30 PM & saw regen resin had gotten into our water lines & clogged all of them-sinks, showers, toilets, washing machine, everything. It's what caused the toilet line to blow. It took over an hour to clear the regen resin from each of the clogged lines so we had water again.  Space limits here do not allow me to detail the subsequent 5 additional visits due to continued issues due to initial botched repair, including a second leak in the tank which caused damage to file cabinets and other belongings. Culligan said they'd reimburse us for damages. For 2 months now, they have refused to do so
