  STRANDED FOR AN HOUR: MY 405 AIRPORT PARKING STORY Parking for when you never want to be picked up.After a wonderful family vacation, we landed at the airport, ready to head home and relax. We had parked our car at 405 Airport Parking, expecting a smooth and efficient service. Unfortunately, what followed was a frustrating ordeal that left us exhausted and disappointed.As soon as we had our bags, we made our way to the designated pick-up spot and began our wait. Initially, it seemed reasonable, but after 30 minutes, we started to worry. Seeking more information, I went to the companys website and found out they had an app to track the shuttle. However, the app didnt work at all, adding to our frustration.Desperate for an update, I found a text message number on the website and sent a request for a pick-up. The automated reply instructed me to call a number if we had been waiting more than 30 minutes. So, I called the number, and they assured me that the shuttle was on its way.We waited another 15 minutes, but still no shuttle. I called back, and this time, they suggested that we either wait or take a taxi to the parking garage. Unwilling to spend more money after already paying for parking, we continued to wait.Frustration peaked when I called again, only to be hung up on. Finally, after a full hour of waiting, the shuttle showed up. We boarded, exhausted and irritable, only to hear another family mention that they had been waiting for two hours. This added to our sense of injustice and disbelief.When we finally reached the parking garage, we saw a lady getting out of a taxi. She told us she also waited for two hours before giving up and taking a taxi. We loaded our bags into the car and left, feeling utterly let down by the service.On the drive home, I decided to create this website to share our experience and warn others about the poor service at 405 Airport Parking. No one should have to go through what we did.

  This business is South (not Sout) Bay Airport Parking. It is also known as 105 Airport Parking. I fly for an airline for a living, so I frequent several covered parking facilities every week. While the facility is quite adequate, the transportation back from the airport is subpar. Waiting time is anywhere from 1 hour to an hour and a half. When you call, they will tell you a driver is on their way, but that is not factual. If they would have just told the truth, I would have taken a taxi to pick up my car.

  We waited at the airport an hr from our first call then were charged **** for overage. We will NEVER EVER use you guys again it was a freaking nightmare. The shuttle driver gave everyone whiplash slamming on the breaks and the garage attendant after being *** to raise the arm to let us out was useless.

  The shuttle service will take 1 hour to 1 hour and 15minutes when you use 405 parking at ***. Do not believe what the Web says or what the management states...it is not true. I have been using the 405 parking for years, and in the last four years you can not depend to be pick-up from a *** terminal with the ************************************************ the *** airport!!Some people take a Taxi to get to the 405 parking lot.

  We reserved and prepaid parking for June 9th at 8:00 am . We arrived at 7:30 and the gate would not accept our Q code, an employee told us they had put in a new computer system and you could not get in prior to your rebooked entry time. We were told to wait at the curb across the street. We noticed a couple of cars entering the garage When 8:00 arrived we pulled up to the gate as an employee put up a sign that the lot was full. We pulled up and said we had a prepaid reservation, and their response was too bad the lot was full. That left us with trying to find antoer parking spot within a very short period, We were able to find another place, and we did not miss our flight. But no thanks to 495 Airport Parking. We will nor be using that lot on any other trip.

  They advertise 15/20 minute shuttle pick up. It took them over an hour and a half to pick up my family. Only one driver. At that point I went beyond my reserve time and was charged $22 extra.!!!!! I was forced to pay to retrieve my vehicle and take my starving family home. No manager on site to fight my case.
