I went to this establishment on 06/08/24 in order to attain my guard card. **************** was terrible, during the entire time there would be constant interruptions due to fact that the instructor; *******************************, kept adding walk-in appointments to classes of scheduled people. He didnt give any proper instruction he just threw us all in one room with limited supplies and supervision, and played tapes. It just felt more like he just wanted our money. Many people had complaints about having to keep coming back due to the fact of paperwork, being mismanaged and the receptionists being very rude and giving misinformation. Im able to complete my training on 06/12/24 and received the certificate of completion. On 07/15/24, I call the department of consumer affairs to check the status of my application and to my surprise nothing had been submitted. On 07/16/24 I go back to the ****** and was told the processing paper had never been submitted through their computer. After two hours of the instructor and receptionist running back-and-forth adding walk-ins to already started classes, I was able to get my paperwork submitted and received confirmation of processing. 08/07/24 I receive a letter from the **** stating that there were deficiencies in my application. I thefollow the required steps to straighten out the discrepancy via email, and now potentially have to wait an additional 90 days, due to the **** poor management and work ethic of the American training Academy.
