    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint against MDTech for their inadequate and unprofessional services provided to me on February 24th, 2023. I had initially contacted MDTech on February 6th, 2023, when the technician came to evaluate my dishwasher. The technician only spent 5 minutes looking at the dishwasher, failed to run a diagnostic mode, and suggested that I replace two parts, the thermostat and heating element, to fix the issue of my dishes not drying properly. I was presented with an estimate for $340, and I agreed to proceed with the repair (paying $200 deposit on 2/15 and $140 on 2/24).However, after the repair was made, the issue persisted. I spoke with ****, the owner of MDTech, who informed me that the diagnostic mode, which requires running a full cycle and presenting error codes on the screen, was not run by the technician. **** then suggested that I replace two additional parts, two control panels, which would cost $390 plus delivery and tax. I refused this offer, as I was uncomfortable investing more money into a dishwasher that *** not be fixable.Furthermore, it is unclear if the first set of parts were even broken, as the technician did not properly diagnose the issue. When I asked **** why the technician did not run the diagnostic mode, he did not have an answer. I requested that MDTech reinstall the original parts and run the diagnostic test before continuing any further repairs. However, MDTech refused to do so and instead insisted on replacing the additional parts or purchase a new dishwasher for them to install.I am disappointed with the inadequate services provided by MDTech, and their unwillingness to properly diagnose and fix the issue. I have attached the estimate provided to me by MDTech for the first set of repairs. I would like a full refund of the $340 paid for the initial repairs.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Sincerely,*********************************

    We're not offering a refunds on completed work. Customer had issues on 2 units, for any reason on the Washing machine was adequate and professional services. Confirm technician report was offered to replace 2 parts and was mentioned extra possible issues with the control panel if issue will not get fixed.
