BEWARE! I am an owner of a 2017 CX5 that I have meticulously maintained and recently just paid off. I purchased from a local ******* dealership in 2018, my car had 30 miles on it and I am the sole owner. I just brought my car to the dealership for a routine appt, or so I thought. I mentioned the car seemed a bit louder than usual and was informed later in the day that my transmission needed to be completely replaced. I HAVE 43K MILES ON MY CAR!! I am currently in an obnoxious battle with corporate who are unwilling to cover this as it is not Mazda 'protocol' but apparently selling lemons is.... They also are fighting me on a possible loaner car as this may take up to a month to resolve. I work a full time job, but again covering this is not Mazda 'protocol'. Do your homework before buying, upon researching I found a number of articles with people having the same issue: ********************************************************************* also spoke with ******* at corporate (ext *******) and he explained that corporate was not willing to do more for this issue because I hadn't always serviced my car at their dealerships... talk about a scam. Never again will I purchase a Mazda.

I traded my 2020 cx5 to ******** The payoff department gave me a hard time getting the payment amount . The online system was down to an update . They processed my regular scheduled payment almost 14 days after I traded the car in . The said they didnt receive the payoff amount auntie almost two weeks later . I received 132 emails stating that they cancelled all scheduled payments on Friday but still alone the scheduled payment to go through . Back story on why I traded the Mazda I once loved so much . Mazda did an upgrade on the newer models and none of them have security systems on it . My car was able to be popped and forced open very easily . I used to own a 2016 cx5 top of the line that had an security system on it and traded that in after being swindled by a salesman into thinking I had that same features . I called the mangers (******************************* of ************************* )and he admitted to not knowing about the security system update . He aggressively stated that it wasnt his fault and because of the sale being too old he could care less.

Dealer: Metro Mazda of Mesquite Stay away! They are scammers. After working with the salesman, ***********************, to order a car this dealer finally told me about the $2,000 market adjustment they were adding to the ***** This was on top of the $2,600 extra options they added to the car once it was delivered to the dealer. These were not factory applied options. They stated the market adjustment was clearly on the car and was previously $5,000. That was not true. Beware of this dealer. They are less honest than any other dealer I have worked with. We cancelled this deal and went to another Mazda dealer that did not try to rip us off. Stay away from Metro Mazda of Mesquite

I would never purchase another Mazda! I have a brand new 2022 Mazda 3 that was in an accident in April. I have been calling weekly since May to get my parts ordered that are on back order and nothing has happened. Ive called and spoken to so many people and no one can help me, tell me when the parts will get ordered, or help me in a loaner car. Ive been calling for months and only 2 reports have been filed/documented of my calls. The customer service is terrible, no one knows whats going on, and no one is willing to really help you. This company doesnt care about you or your situation. ***************! Whenever the parts come and my car is fixed, i am selling my Mazda immediately.

First time Mazda owner formally ****** owner. I am here to share my experience. Mazda has totally lost me as a customer. I will never buy a ****************** ever again. I have a 2015 CX-5 first the transmission went out, and now the engine. Most cars can go way beyond my mileage of ******* before any of these problems occur. Current shops are quoting around ****k for repairs. The car is not worth it and will be junked. The car is in otherwise excellent condition. What a joke. Going back to ****** and never looking back!

I was searching for a mazda cx 5 online and was contacted by a dealership next day to tell me they have one that will be available around 8/5 and the price is ***** I agreed and paid $250 deposit when they send me the invoice for the car they added 3M seat protection and something 3M for doors and a warranty for one year on the tires, when I ask for those to be removed the dealer said that they would not and all there cars include those even though I was given the price over the phone without those. The sales told me that other dealers are jacking up the msrp like shes doing me a favor. First time trying to buy a Mazda and what a experience. I can choose not to have the chemical on my seat if I dont want to.

I have owned 6 (out of 7 total) Mazda cars, and yet they don't seem to care to lose me as a customer due to faulty equipment in their cars. I have major "Spider Cracks" in both the left and right top corners of the navigation screen that continue to spread, creating larger blind spots while in reverse. This is an issue that Mazda is aware of and impacts many models from 2014 until 2019. Even though this may not be considered a "safety feature" in it's traditional form, it has become common practice to rely on this feature while reversing the vehicle. Much like additional airbags may not be required, if they are, they should be fixed when they are proven to be faulty. Both the local dealer(************************* ****** North) and MazdaUSA refused to cover the cost of fixing the issue even though they are aware it is faulty. There is even a Service Notice that was put out by NHTSA that discusses this issue and my model (2018 CX-9) is included, however I have been repeatedly told my VIN # does not qualify. It seems that depending on who you talk to, some customer service agents will approve the fix while others will deny. Do you research before buying from this company, this is not just an isolated incident on a single model. If they are willing to throw away my brand loyalty of nearly 27 years, they truly don't care about their customers.
