On Aug 18 I purchased an item (skirt) online from the company which was advertised as 'Final Sale'. On receipt, it was found to have a malfunctioning Zipper. On telephone Their rep ******* instructed to email pictures of the problem. Sent them the photos twice and after multiple contact attempts, the company emailed that they could repair the problem but at my expense (Charging me for repairs and shipping). They refused to do it complimentary since it was 'Final sale'.It is fraudulent to sell defective items online (where the buyer would not know until received). Nor does their site warn that they may be selling damaged goods (in which case I would not have bought). In order to be able to use the item, I had to incur repair expense by having a tailor do the repairs.I believe St **** should compensate me for the repair, for the mileage, wastage of my time, the associated frustration and very poor customer service.

I ordered a gown and cape on February 4, 2024. I had not idea the return policy was 10 days as no retail store that I use has such a tight policy. I had tocare for my daughter who was diagnosed with a life threatening illness. My stay with her was longer than expected. I shipped back the items when I returned home around March 1. the items were still available at full price. St. John Knits refused to refund the money. In my letter I also offered that I would accept a store credit. They did not even consider my circumstances. the return policy in and of itself is unreasonable. Their policy includes shipping time!

I bought a St. John Knit top over the internet on 12/24/23. The item was on sale. To ensure that I got the right size, I looked at their size chart and determined that I was a "small", according to the dimensions listed on their website. When the item came in, it was much smaller than advertised. I called them to exchange it or return it for a refund. They took the position that it was a "final sale" and therefore not returnable under any circumstances under their policy. I went up the chain-of -command in the client services department but no one was willing to make it right. They said the size charts were only approximate but nothing on the website indicated this. I even offered to send the top back so that they could measure it and see that it was not within the dimensions listed.Their position made no more sense than if I had ordered a blue top and they sent a red top--it was not the size that I ordered, based on the information they provided to me. Maybe the piece was mis-manufactured. I don't know. I believe I am *********** a refund.

On Dec 28 i made an order for 3 items, two of which were marked as final sale on both the website and on the package receipt when it arrived. The third item was on sale, but not marked as final sale anywhere.Order #********** $664.85 $ 357 - Ribbed 3/4 Sleeve ****** Top $130 - Rib Knit Scoop Neck Tank Ecru (Final Sale)$130 - Rib Knit Scoop Neck Tank Grey (Final Sale)There was no return label in the package so I contacted the company to return ********* Ribbed 3/4 Sleeve ****** Top. They said all items were final sale and all could not be returned. I indicated the two items were final sale and the third was not. After multiple emails and phone calls were I was completely dismissed, finally during a call to their customer service someone looked up my original order and said yes, it was indeed their error. They admitted a problem on their end and that their website and receipts were not marking certain items as final sale. She said she modified my account so that the shirt could be returned. The agent offered to have me speak with a manager and I when I took her up on it she said one would call me back. No one of course has called me back - more false statements from St. John. This is a $357 shirt I would not have purchased if I had known it would be final sale. Not properly disclosing this item was final sale, but other cheaper items were is misleading, unethical and unfair to the consumer. I have mailed back the $357 shirt (which I had to pay $20 for shipping) which i expect a FULL refund for. Moreover, for this blatant false advertising that they knew was a problem and the repeated dismissal of my inquiry, I want my money for the entire order credited back to me plus the $20 for shipping for a total of $684.85.I want them to be held responsible for clearly indicating on their website that a $357 shirt is final sale.

I ordered two outfits (four pieces) from St. John Knits on 12/10/2022. (Order #**********.) The items were delivered at my home on 12/19/22, but we had to leave town that same day early in the morning, so I was not home when the package arrived. We got back in town late on 01/02/23. The following day (01/03/23), I tried on the outfits. I had ordered one of them (two pieces) to wear on Christmas Eve while up North which I could not since they arrived after I had left. That specific outfit did not fit me. It was too big. So, the next day January 4th, I shipped the two pieces back to St. John. On January 12th, I received an email stating that after discussing my return with upper management, in order to issue a refund their policy is that the merchandise has to be returned within 14 days of receipt, and they could make no exceptions. We exchanged emails several times and at NO time did they tell me that I could not even get a credit. Instead they sent the outfit right back to me. $1,590.00 for an outfit I cannot wear. I honestly thought that their exchange policy was 30 days like most companies. But, they are not explicit about the 14 days (which is not the norm) anywhere when you are ordering. On top of that it does not state anywhere that you cannot get a credit to purchase something else. I admit that I did not send the items back within 14 days (By the way there were Holidays in between), but to not allow an exchange/a credit is unheard of. The merchandise I purchased was not on sale.I am not an unreasonable person, but I work very hard for my money and it hurts to throw this kind of money out the window. I feel that St. Johns business practice is not acceptable. It is on the borderline of abusive. (Note: I did receive a discount for being a first time customer. Not because the items were on sale. It was a promo they had going on at the time for first timers.)
