    Purchased Acumen XR10 4K dash cam on 08/21/2022 for $391.54 from a dealer in *********. Printed on my receipt is a statement that all warranty service is through the manufacturer. I registered the product with the manufacturer on 09/04/2022. Part of the registration process included stating where the item was purchased so Acumen had this information. The dash cam failed on 08/01/2023. I contacted Acumen who asked me to mail the camera to them at my expense for an exchange. I did that and the new camera was also defective. I didn't feel I should have to pay to ship the second one back so I asked for a pre-paid label. That is when Acumen (I was speaking with ****) refused to honor the warranty by saying that they do not provide service if the item was purchased from a reseller. 1) Acumen knew where I purchased it based on the product registration and 2) My receipt directed me to work with the manufacturer for warranty service. I would have been happy with a working replacement but at this point, I am requesting a refund.
