    This termite company was schedule to come tent the house for a sale. They came and left even though all papers were signed because they noticed rain coming and possible damage to a canopy. We we reached out and said their effort to reach us was not to the real esate agent they were provided the number to they discounted us and have yet to respolve this issue. Now they are delaying the sale of this home and purchase of both elderly people. They keep us on the phone - disconnect and then say they emailed and we didn't respond...we were holding on the phone...

    BBB and Seller's Agent,

     

    We understand the time sensitive situation of the sale of a home as well as the importance of caring for the integrity of the home.  With fumigations all termite companies and fumigation companies require clients to sign release of liability documents in the case of consequential damage may occur.  When arriving at job site, the crew determined that because of the type of roof, the way it was positioned, and the current weather conditions, more damage was likely to occur. Being our subcontractors (it was their duty to inform us) at that point we attempted to reach out to the agent via phone (4 times), via email, as well as the seller herself, all unsuccessfully.  ******** onsite waited over an hour for direction.  We were willing to move forward with the fumigation providing we had a verbal confirmation at the potential for excessive damage.  Out of care for the home without any communication we decided it was best to not fumigate with the current weather.  Once the real estate agent made contact with us (the termite company) Monday evening (just before the company was scheduled to close), we were able to resolve the issue with the seller's son, schedule the property to be fumigated and kept the sale of the home on schedule to close on time.  Which it did.  I received an email from the buyer's agent confirming the transaction closed, on time.
