This happened at Under Armour 01/01/2023. I attempted to return some clothing items in the amount of $410.03 of the nearly $2200 that I spent at there store for Christmas they denied my return which makes no sense as I have not returned anything anywhere for well over 3 years as I just returned to the country 12-20-2021. Transaction I'd is 1673034-200-UAM. So you say it's based on my return activity well answer me how when I have 0 return activity. Will say manager at store felt extremely bad says he wished he could but thanks to The Retail Equations formula or whatever they used I'm stuck with merchandise that don't fit. TRE is a scam. I was denied a credit I asked for from a gift I received of two items totaling $298 from Athleta. I had the receipt. I had the two items with tags in perfect condition. My sister ordered wrong size. Im very short due to scoliosis. So, its not uncommon items not to ********* not even the one that purchased them so the audacity to look at my ID is discriminatory, I have an 800 credit score. I gave it to them anyway. I called TRE and the woman answered the phone repeatedly lied to me. Said it wasnt within 30 day window. It was within 3 weeks and I had proof. She kept saying this like a robot even knowing its untrue. It was so bizarre. Further Athleta allows 60 day window. I was denied the credit which I was planning to use to buy in the store that day. Yet, I was denied. I called TRE next day, then this person makes up a new reason. Said wrong billing address. Its a gift why do you need this. I had my sister with me, she gave her right billing address. Still saying its wrong. Then gives them her old one and that was what they had on file. *** says still denied because I had a return within the year.Its like they just keep making stuff up. I order most clothing online. At times, I need to exchange due to my small size from scoliosis. This is discriminatory behavior. It also doesnt follow Athleta policy. It was within 3 weeks, had tags, perfect condition, receipt presented. I had one exchange with Athleta with a receipt in the last year. There is NO REASON to be denied. I will never do business with any company associated with TRE. They are fraudulently denying transactions against company policies. I havent returned anything to Athleta in over a year. And, when I did it was ordered online (1 pair of pants) and didnt fit so I went into the store to get a credit I used for other items I kept and spent more money than the credit by over 100$. I received as an 19 year old a letter stating I was unable to return items because of too many returns. I HAVE NO RETURNS with TJMAXX I have been a minor! The retail equation has NO customer service and is no help when calling. They say wait 24 hours for a report and then if you want file a complaint that takes 30 days for a decision. Transaction ID: ************** Date: 12/30/22 I tried to return some items I received for Christmas that I do not have a receipt for. They used my drivers license to try to give me store credit, but it didnt go through and I only received a slip with instructions to pull my RAR. This was the only transaction on there and it said Denied with no reason listed. I never do no receipt returns so Im not sure what the deciding factors are for acceptance/denial. I purchased a home in summer 2021. The last few years I have purchased tools and asked for tools for holidays and birthday gifts for various DIY projects around the house. This year I received Dewalt brand tools from ********** from three different individuals; an impact driver, a circular saw, and a hammer drill. These are all tools I need, however ********** has a Dewalt tool kit that contains all of these tools and several more plus two batteries for around $500. Considering the return value of these three new and unused items was about $478 I figured it made sense to return the gifts and purchase the kit. I did not receive receipts with these when I received them as gifts and honestly its just rude to ask for them when all I really want to do is exchange these new tools for a kit. I have exclusively used ********** as my source for tools, materials, and everything else I need and always asked for things specifically from **********. After reviewing my retail activity report it looks like this refund is being denied due to two returns, one for $18.98 and another for $34.67. I redid my bathroom and returned some unused materials to **********. This feels like I am being profiled for I have no idea why, Ive been nothing but a loyal customer and now I cant even ********************** new tools to take advantage of an offer you have? I have no extensive list of returns or power tools at at all so why is this return being denied? Am I being accused of stealing these items and trying to return them? Because I returned two items in the past I am assumed to be a criminal now? On December 27, 2022 I attempted to exchange a gift to *************** Outlet in ****************.I did not have the receipt as it was a gift and my son had returned to ********** nd could not locate the receipt.Since they did not have the size I needed, they said they would give me the lowest price in a store merchandise card. I provided my license for him as he needed the numbers for identification purposes. Upon trying to make the transaction for the merchandise credit, the clerk got a receipt that stated the transaction was denied based on a RAR( Retail Activity Report)made by a report provided from "The Retail Equation" He did not know what this was so he attempted to do the transaction again. Same notice came out. Upon investigating it he said This report states that I have a report that states I have attempted to return several items without receipts in the past and I am flagged . The transaction is denied. I read online what an RAR report is , and it is created for the business to flag FRAUDULENT behavior on the part of the consumer and that the business can BLACKLIST you from other retailers. NO WAY I never ever di d what this report is saying I immediately called the number on the receipt for this RAR company and asked to see the report. they did provide it to me and the ONLY transactions on the report are the (2) that the store clerk made attempting to return the coat. So of course I want them to resolve my issue but they said I need to file a dispute with the company that made this "False claim" I intend to follow through with the dispute process, but I am thoroughly angered by this false bogus report that it seems the ******* store has generated. This is a serious accusation that can affect my credit score and I want this company looked at BAD BUSINESSInitial Complaint

I was not allowed to make returns at ********** because my account was mistakenly flagged.The transactions lump normal returns still within 90 days and those not within 90 days. I am also a pro extra member, and they just do returns by looking up my phone number, so every item has a receipt. ********** doesnt even take returns without a receipt. There are multiple transactions listed that I got flagged for because it was purchased through my ********** perk rewards, so when I returned it within the 90 days, it generated a gift card, that I also got flagged for. I was denied a return of merchandise purchased at ********* and was given a receipt denied slip stating that a company named Retail Equation was preventing me from returning anything to *********. I had the receipt for the item with me and still could not return it. If I had not had the receipt I would have understood. I have 3 items totaling less than $50 that I dont want or need. I was denied an exchange at GAP yesterday 12/22/22 due to this company flagging me as possible fraud. As instructed I requested and received the report in which this company based their decision on. As expected the ONLY exchange or return in the report was the attempted one YESTERDAY at the **** I have close to $200 in jeans for my son in the wrong size. They all hv original tags on them. On 12/19/2022 I attempted to EXCHANGE a gift I received at Victorias Secret at ************** in ********* **,. I did not have the receipt however I looked at their website prior to going into the store to make sure an exchange without the receipt was permitted. Since their policy allows that I went in to exchange my items, excited to get something I could use. It was a birthday gift and I did not want to ask for the receipt and hassle anyone and was fine with an exchange. I went to the register and the women says she cannot exchange the items. It was a sweatshirt with matching sweatpants. It was humiliating. I was turned away in a long line of people. I called the number a couple hours later and the person was extremely unhelpful. She said I CAN exchange it but I could not return it. I told her thats what I was trying to do and she advised to go back and "tell them they said I could". That was laughable. She said if they don't believe me to call when I am there. Whose got time for that?! Also, I wanted more detailed information as to how this information is gathered and what exactly is on this report and she could not provide any additional information. She could only submit a request for this false report. This is complete BS. I got my "report" and there is ONE transaction listed which is the one I attempted that very day AND mind you its because the outfit does not fit. I question the accuracy of their information and the integrity of this business. Honestly, I understand that VS seems to be somewhat of a target for theft however I have not been a serial ************************ and when I do its NOT because I have buyers remorse. I have legitimate reasons. And its the VS policy to EXCHANGE W/OUT A RECEIPT!! I would also question VS as well however its unfortunate they have to use these measures to try and maintain the level of returns. FURTHERMORE, they should be ******* clear that if you attempt to return or exchange anything you'll go on this incorrect report.
