Zero customer support after sale. Been trying to contact someone at their company now for a couple of weeks, including the salesman who sold me the system. No one responds to phone calls or emails or texts. I finally filled out a form on their website and got a form answer back, saying to give them a couple of days to get back to me. One technician was coaching me to pull dongle and do things that I'm not qualified to do. Bottom line is $47,000 later I have a system that's not running on its battery as it supposed to. I have zero battery back up and it was the entire reason I purchased the system. The lack of customer support after sale is phenomenally bad. They marked that everything is in house and that's not true. They subcontract most of the work. I don't even know who my Solar install company was but they never finished the job. When they were installing last year, they left a mess in my yard. They also left a stolen cell phone in my backyard, which the owner trace to my house and threatened me.

Stay away! This review is for contract and cancelation only. I signed a contract and payed $1,000 down payment. I realized that is too big a project for me and I cancelled in 2 days. In contract it says you can cancel before the start of project (Project planned to start in 3-4 month). I contacted the sales person **** ****** multiple times for refund. He kept saying he submitted to the finance department. After few weeks I got tired and filed a complaint to my credit card company. They are not answering to the ******************* either. I have to wait 45 days. I have already spent more than $1,000 on my time. These are not honest people. I dont know about the quality of their work but I dont trust them. You have other options.

I gave a downpayment for my solar panels last January 27, 2024. It took Axia so long to have an ocular survey and develop a design for the panels. Design was sent to me last March 5 only. And this was the reason why HOA approval also took time. Both project coordinator and sales agent assured me that by March, we would already have the solar installed. Up until now (April 12), I am still waiting. They told me that they are waiting for my permits. It is very frustrating. What is worse is they respond one time with a very general answer and would refuse to reply to a follow up question. They would literally ghost customers. Agent and project coordinator are not supportive and will not give you the time of day to assure you that the project will happen. Yet when agent was still selling me this product, he assured me that he will be helping me all the way. I had solar installed by another company in my house before and it did not take this long. I should have believed the reviews I read about this company taking forever to install solar panels.

After researching many solar companies, I concluded that Axia by Qcells was the best decision since they are the direct-to-consumer division of Qcells, the largest residential solar panel manufacturer providing solar panels to 1 in every 3 homes. Their panels are assembled right here in ***************** providing thousands of jobs. It also gives me the peace of mind that if there was a problem, the company will be here to support me with their strong warranty. The installation looks great and everything was done properly with attention to the details. Just prior to the installation, I changed my financing terms and a mistake was made on their side processing the change. Axia by Qcells did the right thing and corrected the situation. Other companies might have not been so responsive to do the right thing. That impressed me and speaks volumes about how I am going to be treated as customer in the future. I strongly recommend Axia by Qcells. Anyone thinking about going solar should get a proposal from them. Youll be happy you did
