  I recently had the pleasure of working with EL-FI Homes for the installation of a 12-panel solar system on my ADU, along with a 5kW battery set to self-use mode, and the entire installation was completed in just two days! EL-FI kept me informed at every step, promptly answering all my questions and addressing any concerns I had. Their transparency and professionalism made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I came into this process knowing nothing about solar panel systems. For that reason, I asked lots of questions to make sure I understood the system, the materials/models used, and expected energy production. EL-FI Homes patiently answered all my questions to ensure I was comfortable on the plan they were proposing to fit my needs. And when the Enphase dashboard was showing confusing data, EL-FI team was prompt in troubleshooting.What really stood out was their commitment to providing the best price guarantee. After comparing multiple quotes, EL-FI Homes offered the most competitive pricing without compromising on quality. This was by far the best price and highest quality materials compared to what other local and national companies quoted me.Additionally, they handled all the permitting and inspection processes with the building departments seamlessly, including withdrawal of old project plans submitted with initial ADU plans (over 1 year old and under different company). All approvals and inspections were handled in a timely manner.I highly recommend EL-FI Homes for anyone considering solar panel and battery installation, especially to anyone feeling lost in the whole process, as they really made sure I had all the info I needed/wanted to make an informed decision. Their dedication to excellent customer service, competitive pricing, and efficient project management makes them the top choice in the industry. I have another project coming up for our main home and will be using EL-FI Homes for this as well.

  We selected El-Fi Homes to do our solar project because they were the most knowledgeable and complete contractor among those who we got bids from. **** was able to provide in depth answers to all of my questions regarding solar power with battery backup, and was able to design a solution that provided whole home backup. Whole home backup is a feature that we really wanted as a part of our solution. The other vendors we worked with either could not provide it, or did not seem very knowledgeable about it, and wanted to charge exorbitant rates to provide it. All of the vendors we got bids from designed a system with solar panels and Enphase batteries, but only El-Fi was able to incorporate whole home backup into the solution without blowing our budget. We now have 20 solar panels, capable of producing 8.2 kW, configured in a micro-grid with three Enphase IQ 5P batteries that keep us running over-night, and in the event of a grid outage.Our motivation for this project was driven by a desire to consume cleaner energy and back up all our home's loads during power outages, all while reducing our carbon footprint. El-Fi Homes also connected us with a roofer who was able to do the necessary roof work to prep for solar panels at a very reasonable price. Once the roofing work was done and the permits were in place, El-Fi homes installed our system and got it working very quickly. All of the wiring and battery / panel / controller installations are very cleanly done, and the stucco and paint work is excellent. The El-Fi team are hard working and very professional The communication on project status and issues was consistently excellent. **** kept me posted on progress daily, and throughout the entire project, and always responded to any questions or concerns I had immediately. We are very happy with our new solar and battery backup system, and are pleased to now be running our house (and charging our cars) from the sun, rather than from fossil fuels!

  Recently I have a main panel upgrade for my home. I have called few licenses electric contracts and asked for quotes and i have decided to choose El-FI homes for the job. El-Fi gave out the straight forward quote which included permit, drawings plan, and obtain city approvals for every single steps thru out the job. Unlike many other electric contracts they give out the quote but when they come to your place, they will add on permit fee, extra cost for panel etc..Like many home owners we did not like this type of tactic. El-FI is not like that, they gave the quote and perform the job with utmost to compliance with building code in addition, El-FI Homes has knowledge and forward thinking suggest install panel with capability to expand solar panel later by install electrical panel with future capability and prevent owner from additional cost for future. El-FI homes performed an excellent job to upgrade my electrical main panel.
