    -Date of the Transaction: April 11, 2023 -Amount of Money Paid: $440.00 -Service Provided: MacBook Pro screen repair as per Invoice #***** -Nature of the Dispute:Subpar repair service leading to a 'spotlight effect' on the screen, affecting the device's usability.Lack of a transparent warranty policy, with a 6-month vendor warranty only disclosed after complaints.-Repeated communication attempts ignored, with calls acknowledged only when a different phone number was used, suggesting avoidance.-Resolution Attempts: Multiple attempts to communicate with Runner Boys to resolve the issue were made, but they were either ignored or responded to unprofessionally, with no effective resolution provided.-Order/Account Number: Invoice #***** On April 11, 2023, I paid Runner Boys $440 for a MacBook Pro screen repair (Invoice #*****). Post-repair, on April 18, 2023, I reported a 'spotlight effect' via text, mistakenly described as 'restarting' due to the screen intermittently going black. This was not a new or separate issue but directly related to the repair quality. Despite immediate and repeated communication attempts, including on May 15 and June 20, my concerns were met with dismissive and unprofessional responses. Only after calling from a different number did I receive acknowledgment, suggesting a deliberate avoidance of my complaints.Runner Boys later informed me of a 6-month warranty, not initially disclosed, complicating the resolution process. Their suggestion to bring in the device again was unfeasible without a guarantee of resolution, considering their track record and my demanding schedule. The ongoing problems severely impacted the device's functionality and my professional work.Please help addressing the substandard repair and lack of transparency. The inadequate response and failure to uphold basic customer service standards have left me prepared to escalate this matter and hope others don't go through the same experience i did.

    I dropped my laptop off for repair over two months ago. Since they I have called and called for updates with promises that they will call me back and let me know the status and when it could be picked up.They have no stopped going to the location and are no longer answering phone calls. I want my laptop back but am not unable to reach the owner.
