The Leave Timeshare company contacted me and told me they would be able to get me out of my current timehsare contract at no cost. Once I agreed to let them assist, i was told that I now owe Leave Timeshare $10,000. This amount was never discussed prior and no services have been rendered but they are still claiming that they are owed this money. They keep contacting me for payments but again no service has been rendered. I do not wish to work with this company and I do not believe that I owe them anything

We have investigated the details of this complaint and found the claims to be entirely specious.  First, Leave Timeshare is a fee-based service, and at no point do we represent that our services are free. Ms. ******** voluntarily elected to finance her timeshare exit and completed all required loan documentation, including electronically signing agreements, that clearly outlined the terms and associated costs.
Second, following ************* retention of our services, we made numerous good-faith attempts to contact  her, including emails, phone calls, and voicemails, all of which have gone unanswered. Moreover, despite being given every opportunity to move forward, she has not even provided the necessary documentation.
We remain willing to assist, but the client's lack of responsiveness has prevented us from proceeding further. Her claims are without merit, and to date, the services which have not been rendered were due solely due to the client's lack of cooperationnot due to any inaction on our part.
That said, we are still willing to assist and honor the service agreement if *********** would like to move forward. Alternatively, if she prefers to formally cancel and resolve this matter, we are open to a conversation to bring this to a mutually agreeable conclusion.

    Regards,

    Leave Timeshare

Shortly after signing our Wyndham Time Share, we started to receive calls from Leave Time Share. We set up a consultation with ***** ********* Oct.25,2023 As requested we brought our Time share contract which ***** took and was going to send back to us by mail. We still have not received it even after requesting multiple times by email. During our consult we were told Leave Time share could put an exit team on our case and get us free from our Time Share because ******* uses poor tactics to lure you into a contract with them. Which is what they did so we agreed! looking back now I believe Leave Time Share did the same type of tactics to lure us in as well. We were also told even though it says in our contract an addition fee for an attorney could be ****** we would not have to worry about that (another lie). They pushed *** legal services on us for the first year until I insisted we would not pay for that also. Also during our consult we were told to stop all payments to Wyndham and make sure you take them off auto pay. We were told we can pay ****** to Leave Time Share to get out of our ****** Time Share wouldn't that be better? (of course) Finally after being turned into Pinnacle Recovery by Wyndham Time Share, I emailed a copy of that to Leave Time Share and they said they would add it to our account. We then received a Deed of Lieu from ******* which we emailed to Leave Time Share. This would get us out of the deed with them but would hurt our credit and still have to pay all of the back maintenance fees. Finally **** called us and said they made a mistake. That we wanted their exit team to work on our case not an attorney so we will get an exit team on it right away. that was about a year after we signed our contract with Leave Time Share. Oct 26 2024 or so. They submitted a complaint to the *********************** in ******* on 12/5/2024 Still no relief! Loan thru United Consumers ****** after down payment of ***** Also had us sign up for Smart Credit- ******

Response to BBB Complaint Crystal & ****** ****
    Dear BBB Representative,
We value the chance to address ******* and ****** ***** concerns about their experience with Leave Timeshare. Client satisfaction and transparency are priorities, and we aim to clarify their case.
    Background and Contract
The ***** hired us to assist with their timeshare exit, a process with variable timelines based on developer responses. They received a detailed explanation of the process, fees, and outcomes upon signing their contract, which noted:
Clear agreement to our services and costs.
Optional attorney retainer fees, if needed, as an additional charge.
A tailored strategy requiring client and developer cooperation.
    Case Progress
Our records show significant efforts, including:
Regular emails and calls with updates.
Filing a complaint with the Florida Attorney General.
Guidance on a Deed in Lieu (DIL) offer from Wyndham.
Ongoing rebuttals to secure a resolution.
Claims of inaction or misleading are unfounded, as no specific timeline was guaranteed due to developer dependency.
    Clarifications
Attorney Fees: They were never charged the optional retainer, as they declined itper the contract.
DIL Offer: We advised on Wyndhams viable exit option, which they rejected; we did not discourage it.
Payments: Fees covered case management, advocacy, and filings. Refunds arent issued for completed services.
    Commitment
We remain dedicated to helping the ***** exit their timeshare. Were actively working on their case and encourage ongoing communication. However, we cant control developer actions or guarantee third-party outcomes. Since this inquiry, weve been in touch with them to address concerns and pursue a resolution. Our goal is their successful exit.
    Sincerely,
    Leave Timeshare

Got a welcome call on 11/1/2023 from **** with instructions on payments and other instructions which included signing up with the ***************** to monitor our credit. then on 11/21/2023 another email from ***** saying leavetimeshare is pleased to inform us that MXM Legal is assigned our case for a fee, we were told we would not have any other fees even though it said in our contract we might. {I asked ***** multiple times when he met with us on behalf of LeaveTimeShare}. We then called and reassured again that we were not interested in paying a lawyer we wanted the exit team to get us out of contract like they said they would and we were paying them ********* to do so. with no result I emailed ***** on 12/15/2023 and told her we needed to get something figured out. ***** emailed on 12/19/2023 with examples of letter of explanation to help us with writing ours which needed to be sent to *******. We emailed our letter of explanation 1/1/2024. I got another response on 1/12/2023 from ****** ***** with another email stating Leave Time Share is pleased to inform you that MXM legal is assigned our case. We heard nothing else I emailed ***** on 4/5/2024 asking if we should be doing anything else i got no response. I emailed her again on 7/18/2024 with a photo of our Wyndham Time Share being turned over to Pinnacle recovery Services. I cant remember but I think it was **** who finally called us and said there was a confusion about us wanting the exit team to work our case and not an attorney so we will get our exit team on it right away. Got a response from Shukira on 9/25/2024 on the foreclosure of the timeshare saying they are working diligently on our case for the best results. We did receive a deed in Lieu from ******* but it would be bad on our credit and we would still owe all the maintenance fees so we turned it down after not getting a timely response from Leave Time share on what we should do.
