I was gifted a Leegol double barrel 3 lbs each. First I couldn't open the lids, my boyfriend couldn't open the lids. I tried contacting to company to see if there was a trick to open the lids or if I had bad ones. They NEVER contacted me. I gave up on it for a while and I wrote the company again, and again no response. So then I decided to look on ******* to figure out how to get the lids off. Seems like many people were having the same problem and I found a video that showed tricks to get the lids off. *****, that worked. I put rocks and grit in the barrel and wouldn't you know it, I couldn't get the lid back on. Wrote the company again. and again no response. Looked on ******* again, and there it was many people having that problem also, It was hard but I got the lid on. Tumble was noisy, but I expected some noise, and seemed to work okay for a few days, Then it started squeaking loudly and the lids and caps were rubbing on the sides. The rubbing is making metal shavings. The caps and wearing down from rubbing against the metal, and the grip is pretty much all shaved off the caps. The barrels sit so low and that's why the cap is rubbing. The plastic tabs don't help keep the barrels from rubbing. If I use the rubber tabs the barrels start shaking oddly. I dealt with all this for 4 weeks and went to put the barrels on for my final polish and the barrels won't spin. I've oiled the bushing once a week and it doesn't help. I don't have any belts left. I need new black s**** caps (they are worn down) The lids are getting pretty thin, I doubt they will last long. Rods spin, but the barrels don't They are both under 3 lbs of rocks and water. This is supposed to be a fun new hobby for me so I can keep my mind off stressful things in my life. This is just creating more stress. I don't know if I got a lemon. I'd like a new tumbler if possible. They had a lifetime warranty when this was bought. If not a new tumbler, I'd like new seals, lids, caps, and belts. OR $100.
