      On Saturday night August 6th 2022 my car was towed.
      On Sunday morning August 7th 2022 I paid $513 to get my car out of the tow yard which was only there for a few hours. (I have receipts showing date & amount) they charged me extra to get it out because it was a Sunday which I paid for & got the car & went on my way. As of TODAY January 17th 2023 I received a letter in the mail from the DMV stating the tow company is going to do a lein sale on my vehicle. On the letter it states that there is over $300 in fee still owed which is FALSE. My car was not there an extended period of time let alone a few hours, this is causing unnecessary distress & I am having to take time out of my day to correct this at the DMV

      Good afternoon, we do not conduct liens until the vehicle has been our possession for 24 hours. So unless she received the notice of storage through Chp. I have pulled up invoice on our quick books she was charged one day of storage and she was charged an after hours fee which is able to be charged per our tow service agreement with California Highway Patrol. The reason for this is the office is closed and we have to send a driver down to the storage yard to release the vehicle and do the paperwork. This is not charged from 8-5 Monday through Friday. Here is a copy of what I have in our quickbooks regarding this call. I can also pull invoice if needed.

       I am rejecting this response because:


      I am not debating the fees or charges which I paid in full for the day of the incident ($513), I am debating the lein posted on my vehicle for which I understand to be false, in the document I submitted with my complaint it clearly shows that the tow company stated the vehicle was stored for more than 24 hours (storage daily rate is $65 & it shows a balance due of $325) how is $325 due when the can was not stored no longer than 24 hours?  thus in turn I am requesting a full refund since business/paperwork was not conducted properly obviously.
